Haha, of course if your friend looks very young then maybe some kind of proof of age might be required, my hubby is 15 going on 53:p . If you only have to enter the gate once (accompanied of course) it's probably not an issue but we're in campervan fields so I had to get it cleared up or he might not have been able to re-enter the festival without me (that thought made me chuckle

Don't panic, I must have slipped when clicking the drop down box when I paid the balance and my other half is now a child lol!
I contacted See by email & phone and they said they couldn't change it but that it wouldn't matter as it only relates to accompanied young teens and they would go on the photo & common sense at the gate. The cost is the same.
I do have an email to confirm this which I will take with me just in case.
Still can't believe I did it, blame it on the excitement! !!!

im not talking about weed, im talking about mainly ecstacy. and no, it wasnt drunk people with the 7am indicents, some guys camped next to us were on E themselves and agreed with me that as was the majority of people at the picadilly party.
the picadilly party is not the campiste djs, its a f**k off huge dj thing that blares out til 6am, which we didnt know about until the first night and couldnt get space where we usually pitch (white, near the durcacell, so i do NOT have that much if an issue with the noise).
i do agree that alcohol is part andc parcel of the same thing, but alcohol is not illegal, drugs are.
and on the note of the security being tight, i didnt once get asked, searched or anything else, either coming in on thursday, coming in from tesco trips, or going into arena.

With a new tour and album to promote surely the boys from Leeds will be back?

I still think MCR could be a good shout, I know the album won't be out by then but I'm guessing with this new soundtrack out they'll be shoved down our throats until it is.

I've been going for a few years now and every year the radio bands get higher and higher up the bill.
These are bands that should be at V fest and other festivals and would never have been considered for Leeds a few years ago.
The twats just keep coming more and more every year, it's becoming so chavy its not even funny!
16 year olds are now just tagging along with big groups of other idiots, probably most of whom don't even know the line up! They just go cos its the only place they can drink without their parents or the police stopping them. They think it's cool to get stupidly drunk all the time and not even go to watch any music.

I'm praying for a SOAD reunion soon and I think realistically they will come back for 2010, although you never know 2009 could happen, however I think Serj is making a new album so not likely
For anyone that doubts it could happen I remember in 2006 people swearing to me that RATM would never play again......
