Lulu’s cafe near the pyramid side entrance to The Wood - charging £6 for a breakfast roll is bad enough, but they still asked £6 for a bacon roll and the same for sausage.
Conversely, £5 for a breakfast toastie from the place at the bottom of kids field was excellent value for money.

I have been scanning in and out all through the weekend and there definitely seems to be a problem when you scan out at one gate and in at another. Happened twice and in both instances the crew took me inside and scanned out and in to make sure the band was saying ‘in’ before releasing me into the festival. No ID was asked for on both these occasions which kind of makes a mockery of the whole system.

Watching Liam instead of the guys from squeeze.
watching the metamorphosis instead of the Foos - found it so boring that I turned round and watched the fireworks from the pyramid.

So if you are genuinely using the bike lockup (i.e. Arrive in one, leave it in the bike lockup) then you join the bus queue, rather than being sent to the back of the car queue?
TBH I'm not 100% sure on that one but I think you're correct.

ok so I will join the queue with the bus travellers if I cycle in gate A? , I'm sure this queue moves faster than the one that comes directly from the car parks and into gate A which is the option we have done in the past ?
Technically, you would not be allowed to join the bus queue, as it will be obvious you haven't arrived by bus. It's likely you will be pointed in the direction of the main queue.
You could arrive at the bike lockup at gate A and try to blag you way in with your bike that way.

im a little different and want to get my stuff on site via gate A in my bike trailer is this going to help me cut the queue much ?
No. You will need to join the main queue as you are taking your bike through the gate.
I have done the bike trailer thing for the past two years - it's such a great way to bag a great camping spot!

At the end of 'Mr Blue Sky' when he says Mr Blue Sky in the electronic voice... brought a tear to my eye and I just shouted "Yesssssss!!!!!!!"
This was a great moment, but Richard Tandy doesn't say "Mr blue sky" at the end, it's "please turn me over"

A few people at the front during Beck were asking security for earplugs!

Have you been let into parking?

Someone delete this thread.

It's good etiquette NOT to publish the number online.
Hard enough for Locals to attend these days - the tele number is ONLY in the local papers for good reason !!

I'm 32 and having been to Glastonbury in 07, 09, 10, 13, 14 and 15, ELO, should they play, will be by far and away my most eagerly anticipated act of all the years I have been.
I've always liked their music but have got massively into them since their latest reappearance, for which i am so thankful to Chris Evans, who was instrumental in getting them playing again.
I respect the fact, (although find it hard to believe) that some don't get anything from their music. That's music for you!. I seem to be the only person on here who really doesn't get Arcade Fire. How can a band I had never heard of, have still never heard on the radio and, when researching their 'best material' found myself completely uninspired by, headline Glastonbury?
-
I wouldn't say not "worthy", I just don't think they have sufficient standing - either in terms of critical kudos or in terms of cultural impact - to headline in 2016.
The post legend slot on a Sunday afternoon feels like the place to put them. #WrongBazza into ELO will be the winning combo.
I agree that the Sunday early evening slot would suit them, but remember, Arcade Fire headlined, and ELO are massively bigger and have much more better know material than them.
-
Cos ELO aren't headliners. ..
as in not worthy to headline?
-
ELO is just Jeff nowadays
And Richard Tandy.

No
One of our groups missed out as one postcode was wrong. 2JL instead off 2HL :-( Que 4 folks not getting tickets as by the time was sorted they sold out.

we have had kids picked up on sat morning before, and we just asked nicely the guys manning the main entrance to worthy farm if the car could swing round in the entrance for a minute or two. They were fine with that.

I've just heard from my man who I was buying EPOs off that it's not happening this year. There's some form of informal registration involved this year.
Apparently this was decided only 3-4 weeks ago by mendip council just to the way people use them.
I have seen this year's village tickets and they definitely do come with ticket transfer slips.
-
Village tickets come with a ticket transfer voucher that allows the ticket to be used by other people.
-
Hey peeps,
we know a family who live in Pilton, and have 3 of their tickets on the understanding that they can be used, with the ticket transfer slip, for first time entry, even though the people will obviously not match the details and photo on the tickets.
One of our party is freaking out that they will be refused entry with one of these village tickets despite reassurances from the family from whom the tickets came.
Can anyone here please confirm the deal with transferring these tickets so this person can rest easy!
thanks.

Another Arcade Fire, I'm afraid.

Always carry your toothbrush and toothpaste on you. Clean your teeth at any of the taps on your way into site. Saves queuing in the morning with the lemmings.
Or you can realise you don't need a sink in order to brush your teeth.
