Basically involves meeting someone in a field and them walking you into the festival (allegedly) either on someone else's band or via security.  It means you don't have a band when you're inside the festival walls though so could theoretically get thrown out.  The cost is so cheap (100-150) you could probably buy another go if that happens for less than the tickets are going now.

I have done this at V festival before but not Glastonbury. At V they did not check how loose the wristband was so I assumed the person at the door had been paid off.

Does anyone know why the registration page would still be open on the main landing page, if all tickets are sold out?

Given the various changes that have happened to the page in the last few days eg car park this morning, seems odd that this is still open.

People can still register but not buy tickets until they are available, this includes the next one.

see have no plans for sales, and if they did they wouldnt tell you any different than they have told other people. the people answering these emails are not the people who can make ticket sales happen. how many times does this need to be pointed out to the people emailing them

I supposed it wouldn't be a secret if they did tell us

I think they posted above that they've found one local to where they live :)

Yeah I found one locally, but this info may help others. Thanks all for the help!

Try the people we've been using for a caravan for festivals for the last six years. They have always been truly wonderful and have been doing Glasto for more than 25 years.

They are usually completely sold out but you never know your luck if you ring them directly. You can park your car right next to the van which will have been set up ready for your arrival. All you need to bring is a duvet and bedding. As long as it is a campervan EAST pass!

Easier than driving a rented campervan down from Nottingham. Give it a whirl at any rate. And tell Ann that you were recommended by Jane who is staying in Bruton on the Monday before Glasto - she'll know exactly who we are. Good Luck.

They were charging £895 for a 6 birth caravan but I found someone locally who has a camper for £400

There are only 2 of us so have chosen the camper

Thanks anyhow and I will bear them in mind if there are more of us next year
