  1. Just been chatting about the line up so far and it turns out that 2 in our group are pretty much hateing it at the moment. Can anyone point me in the direction of that list of remaining acts that were announced after the first line-up last year?

  2. I'd check out the EE powerbar thread a few pages back as there were some good alternatives recommended now it's being confirmed they've binned them off this year. Alternatively, just look on Amazon as there's plenty - just make sure they have a lot of good reviews and you'll be fine.

I've been to chameleon bar till 3am listening to indie music from the 90's. Bread and roses and the bandstand to see friends play I think that was after the headliners. there's always the stone circle for the sounds of bongo drums and laughing gas canisters, well that's what they had last time I was there, not sure if the ban on gas has worked?

Went to the Stone Circle last year for first time since 2012, but it's all changed. Now it's not nearly as good as it used to be even 4/5 years ago. The big fire and bongos etc. has all gone. What happened?

  4. Went to see Jeff Lynne and ELO last night. I do know a lot of their tunes even though they were a bit before my time, but had no idea what the gig would be like - I've seen Jeff Lynne in TV interviews recently and always thought he looked a bit shakey. However, last nights gig was amazing in every way! I really do think this will prove to be a great booking. It's just a shame that it is in the middle of the day as the visuals and back drop only added to the gig.

If you don't know them or only know Mr Blue Sky then I'd definitely recommend getting to know them between now and June. They're such an underrated band and a perfect choice for the legend slot in every way.

  5. There's no doubt that Adele has many fans but not everyone in front of the Pyramid is going to be an Adele fan so she's going to have to think how to satisfy the Glastonbury masses - not just her own fans on this occasion (if God forbid she is the headliner). It's also the Saturday headliner, and while she may have one or two songs that shuffle faster than the average heartbeat, the vast majority of her songs (whether they're good or bad) are not exactly going to set the majority of people up for the rest of the night.

I'll probably be there as some of my mates would want to see her but I'll probably head to bed after that with a nice cuppa and dreams of what could have been.

  6. On mobile at work so apologies in advance as I know it will be somewhere on another thread but when do we reckon the full line-up will now be announced now the 3rd Headliner has been announced Neil?

  7. This is the first year I've been since 2011 and have no idea if they still have this now, but there used to be a Michelin starred restaurant somewhere on site. I wouldn't usually bother but it's a mate's birthday (a significant one) so we're wanting to push the boat out. Yes - I know a Growler would probably do the trick but she's wanting something just a bit different from the norm one night.

Does anyone know if it will be there this year and if so can you remind me what it's called, where it usually is and whether it's worth it?!

  8. Have been told horror stories about the lock ups too. People taking from the bags. Not sure whether to believe them or not. Looking at these posts it doesn't seem likely that this has happened?

  9. Just noticed on rumours page that Jamie T Is playing The Other stage on the Sunday. Obviously depends what's announced on 1st July but gutted it doesn't clash with the Foo's or Kanye
