It’s the fact everyone around you is packing up that makes me sad on the Sunday. Seeing people carrying stuff back to their cars is a downer. I like to put it all off till Monday.
-
Looking forward to this last bit.

It’s ok but this Macca set could have been so much better.

Feel super bad for the people going on the Friday and Saturday. As much as I love Bjork (and again cannot wait to see her) it's very obvious that they spent all their money on her/the orchestra/the visuals and realised they had two other days and the rest of sunday's bill to fill out.
Plenty for me on all of the days. Looks like I’ll have quite a few clashes tbh.

Tickets arrived this weekend!!
looking forward to this one. Bought said tickets 2years ago. 😀 -
Periodic table numbers 42,45&46 are
Mo
Rh
Pd
dunno if this means anything.
Mo could be Mogwai I suppose.

Co ordinates for the north sea.
British Sea power?
Sounds plausible to me. I’d be well happy with them. Wanted to see them for ages.

There's an act on there that I once suggested to the bluedot booker after seeing them at a fest where i thought they were great, and said something about them not appearing at many festivals.
No huge shakes, but I'm surprised they don't get booked by more festivals more often.
Gorillaz? Ooh or maybe Nils Frahm.

Just announced that all forms of payment will be accepted this time. After listening to feedback. Personally cashless worked fine for us but I did hear of people having top up problems. Nice to see they’ve listened to feedback.

Underworld are playing Boomtown. Reckon they could do be in with a shout.

Been meaning to post this all week...
Got told at the weekend that Grace Jones is 'playing a gig in Cheshire' this summer.
Possible Blue Dot headliner?
Wow! That would be brilliant!

So I see Massive Attack are now ruled out. Does anybody have any insider information yet? Pretty sure last year someone was giving hints that the correct acts had been mentioned. Really not got a clue now!
-
Ok then my final guess is Doves, Pet Shop Boys, Massive Attack.
-
Announcement in the next month or so according to Bluedot twitter.
-
Would love Thom Yorke. I see he’s out touring.

Not convinced about Pet Shop Boys as they're doing their own Manchester headline barely two months beforehand and it won't have sold out by the time Blue Dot goes on sale. It'd be a perfect booking but I'd be surprised with that timing.
Pretty sure Pixies played Manchester Castlefield very near to them playing BlueDot. So it is done.

Winners of Best Medium Sized Festival at the UK festival awards!

Don’t know anything about LCD Other than they were mentioned on this thread and I would love to see them at blue dot. Reckon Tame Impala are a shout as somebody has mentioned.
-
Portishead would be amazing but Surely there’s no chance. They’ve played like one show in about ten years and that was at Glastonbury. Also Geoff has Beak now. Who I would love to see at Bluedot!
i see Iggy POP has just been announced at all points east. That makes him possible.
I would be very happy with LCD Soundsystem/ Pet Shop Boys / Massive Attack.

Our first festival with our 1 yo. Been once before. It’s a great festival. Perfect size and very unique compared to pretty much all festivals. Arrived on the Thursday which was a great idea as there were more people there than we expected. Found a space in family camping easy but by Friday am people we’re struggling. The weather wasn’t perfect but I felt they coped well. I thought the cashless system worked too. Already booked for next year. Can’t wait!!

Great line up! John Grant!!
We went a couple of years ago and it’s a top little festival. We now have a 6 month old (1 by the time of the festival.) wondering if anyone else has took a baby here and what it’s like.

You weren't too far from us either lol as we're just right of the light grey tent out of frame
I really enjoyed this weekend as such a great festival and it's going to becom5a regular date in the calendar for us
I actually found the night owl area quite subdued th as on the Friday we came back quite late and not a soul in sight lol... it was really misty too as all you could see is the tops of the tents in the dip
I was camped at the other end of the field. Think I took this on my way back from the toilets. Was a lovely sunset.
