  1. if you end up camping in a horrendous place and are after a sleep, walk a little bit down river and there's a 'beach' park...cheap to get in... a few of my mates had a relaxing kip there during the day last year. We went down the day after the festival in an attempt to escape the scorching heat....even walked there from the train station. ridiculous.
  2. agree with derm. last year i took sterling and changed it to dinars at a bank in town. easy enough and i got a good exchange rate. this year il be doing the same even though the exchange rate may not be as good as previous years
  3. And Montenegro is definitely worth checking out. There are a few ways to get there - you can get the train from Novi Sad to Bar, which takes about 12 hours overnight, but you will need to book it in advance which means taking time out while you are at the festival to go and queue at the train station for about an hour. Alternatively, you can go to Belgrade and get a plane from there to Tivat, which is not far from the most beautiful part of the whole of Montenegro, the Boka Kotorska bay. All around the bay there are some really nice towns (check out Kotor for sightseeing and Herceg Novi for a night out - there is a cool club there in an old fort).

  5. so once you're in the festival it's aight?

some girl told me a horror story about her mate smoking a spliff inside the festival and getting nabbed by an undercover cob, who proceeded to march them to a cash machine for a fine/bribe. same deal with some guy and his pills ;)

  6. nah, once you're in you're in - it's not like Homelands where you have dozens of undercovers in each arena. Just be careful getting into the fortress, don't risk taking anything through the gates, the place is swarming with armed police - searches are extremely thorough.
  7. Main stage after 02h!!!!

    Thursday: Stanton Warriors

Friday: Dj Zinc & Dj Friction b2b with Mc Dynamite

Saturday: LTJ Bukem & Mc Conrad (which will be recorded for Bukem's progression sessions dvd mix)

Sunday: Pendulum Dj set with Mc Verse

  8. are the prodigy definately confirmed for the 12th? i cant check myspace or their website from work.

im from warrington way. tend to float around the northwest between manchester an liverpool. probably more liverpool places like chibuku, great crowd great music!!

at the mo im livin down in northampton, its crap but it does mean im only an hour from london so i get down there quite a bit!

  9. yeah Belgrade aint far from Novi sad, and trains are pretty regular, if you go before festival starts you can get ticket/seat easy. I's more or less a 3 hour journey.

If you're desperate you can get a cab to Novi Sad from centre of Belgrade for 50 euros. Which is dirt cheap considering when I go out in Manchester city centre (12 miles away into countryside) it costs me in excess of £50 to do a 30 minute trip, so 50 euros aint that bad.
