  1. Watchmen - Poor Leonard Cohen

One of the most disappointing soundtracks i've heard in the last 5 years. So many big tunes that crop up time and time again - Jimi Hendrix (Withnail) to mention one

  2. Has Stuart Broad bowled today? I find this increases my enjoyment of cricket tremendously (obviously Kevin Pietersen helps too)

    .......sorry, i'll leave

  3. I'm currently trying to compose a text to rally the troops and get a decent turnout for tomorrow night's monthly rock club. Trouble is alot of my mates are a bit anti-alternative and always whinge or make up shit excuses when I suggest going to said club.

Don't understand the negativity myself, it's the only place in town where it doesn't look like you've stumbled into Willy Wonka's factory! (because there are no oompa loompas!)

  4. Where do folk reckon are good places to meet new women (or men if thats your thing)?

Got bored of trying in bars and esp clubs.

I'm thinking about joining a gym, not only should it improve my chances by looking a bit better hopefully be a few nice ladies that go there as well.

Always thoguht gigs might be a good diea as you know that you'll liek the same music etc, always liked to meet a girl who would rather go see good bands than listen to Boyzoe etc! But then same sort of problem as bars where your usually pretty drunk and well gigs are a bit loud for chattign to folk!

    Anyway any reccomendations?

  5. Dunno if I fancy bleaching my hair, I've just got it in good condition as I'm trying to grow it really long. Because my hair is so fine (thin I mean, not great smashing super) it breaks very easily so it's a nightmare to grow long. I have been growing my hair for about a year now and it's probably grown about an inch in that time (I get it cut regularly, to get rid of split ends)
  6. Go melt back into the night, babe,

Everything inside is made of stone.

    There's nothing in here moving

    An' anyway I'm not alone.

You say you're looking for someone

Who'll pick you up each time you fall,

    To gather flowers constantly

An' to come each time you call,

A lover for your life an' nothing more,

    But it ain't me, babe,

No, no, no, it ain't me, babe,

It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe

    and.......

She lit a burner on the stove and offered me a pipe

"I thought you'd never say hello," she said

"You look like the silent type."

Then she opened up a book of poems

    And handed it to me

    Written by an Italian poet

    From the thirteenth century.

And every one of them words rang true

    And glowed like burnin' coal

    Pourin' off of every page

Like it was written in my soul from me to you,

    Tangled up in blue.
