  1. I really cannot decide on the whole Rage thing.....I really hope they do Download but im feeling a little pesimistic at the moment. My 7 guesses would be:

    Rage Against The Machine (Headliner)

    Metallica (Headliner)

    Mastodon

    Lamb of God

    Paramore

    In Flames

    Five Finger Death Punch

EDIT: Ozzy seems to be a pretty solid rumour at the moment, anyone know the justification behind this or is it mere speculation?

  2. 2008 sucked donkey dick.....3 headliners 'kiss' who are just dodgy old men dressed as clowns with about 2 good songs, 'The Offspring' who i loved when i was about 15 and have done nothing recently to warrent a headlining slot, shuda played 2nd top at best just as they did in the rest of Europe that year. Then theres 'Lostprophets' who are basically the Backstreet Boys trying to play guitars - the biggest joke of a rock band of the last 20years. The rest of those bands that played in 08 dont really interest me either. 2008=BIG FAIL.

2006 now that was an awsome year. TOOL, Metallica and Guns N Roses headlining with also the likes of Prodigy, Alice In Chains, Deftones, Clutch, Killing Joke & Down! amazing! 2009 was probably the 2nd best with the Reformation of FNM and also Prodigy, Def Leppard etc. Hopefully if we get AC/DC, Soundgarden and then either Metallica or Aerosmith headlling we could be on course to have a festival to top 2006 & that would be mightely awsome! :P

  3. I think Bullet for my Valentine could play, don't think they'll headline.

And as for Download 2008, it was f**king awesome!!

    A few Lith left out:

    Children of Bodom

    Municipal Waste

    Amon Amarth

    Seether

    Alter Bridge

    Apocolyptica

    Testament

    Saxon

Was a fantastic weekend :P Bring on Download 2010!!

And someone said about 08 lacked the "wow" factor...............KISS???? music isnt exactly my cup of tea but I still thought it was amazing to watch.

  4. Is it only me that thinks booking rammstein isn't the best move???...........

Don't get me wrong, i would f**king LOVE to see Rammstein at Download, but considering they're playing in Manchester (which im standing for! :P ), Birmingham, and have sold out Wembley Stadium, i would have thought a large majority of people who would want to see them would have seen them before the festival.

Agree to disagree, this is just my opinion! :P
