Yeah that was me, its the same DJ that tipped me off as to who was playing so his information is generally good. Its a great festival so it would be a shame if it didnt happen.

I know a DJ who works at a club owned by the promoter who runs summercase. To late for me now ive booked up for another festival, but have attended every Summercase so far so may make a special effore IF it happens.

It's my yearly, "I've got to find a festival to go to between 2 other festivals" post...
Going to Worldwide on the first weekend of July, my mates are flying back on the 6th (or maybe 7th) and I'm not meeting my other mates in Valencia until the 12th for Beni... leaving me with a spare week (and weekend)
Any festivals going on around that time, preferably in North East Spain or South France, but anywhere vaguely near there really! Or if not a festival, some cool places to go...
Went to SonneMondSterne on a reccomendation from this thread last year and it was well cool, completly different to anything I'd been to before, was camping on the edge of a friggin lake!
So yeah, any help greatly appreciated!
(also would most likely be going on my own, so somewhere nice and friendly!)

There's a crowd of us looking into going this year and covering all options by getting an apartment (Marina D'Or - anyone stay here?) and camping tickets too. Be nice to have the luxury of a bed with the craic of the campsite. Anyone know if there's any security issue with leaving the site with a camping band? I know when I went to RockNess last year they had a 'no pass outs' rule which meant if you left the campsite you weren't getting back in. Cheers

I was at Beni the last time Oasis played and to be honest it was one of the most boring shows I have ever seen.
I cannot remember Liam or Noel interacting with the crowd at all apart from once when I think it was Liam swore at the crowd.
I might as well have watched a DVD of their concert.

For me Kings of Leon and Oasis are the worst possible headliners (maybe The Killers would be even more annoying)...but there's still 96 bands to be announced.

Does anybody know where's good to visit after the festival? Somewhere with a decent nightlife and that.
Is Valencia any good?? Went to Barca after it last year and wernt that impressed.

My only worry is that i'm not sure how keen on Cider the Spanish are, and how likely I am to find any reasonably priced Cider in Benicassim? Unfortunately this is my choice of drink. If not, i'll settle for Vodkaaaa.

I am comparing it to Malta and it's not that hot. Here it's all humid and so you just get all sticky. Over there it's a dry heat so as long as you stay hydrated you will be fine.

Sorry Bonterra campsite, it is not free, it is private, the one free is Bonet one of the festival campsites free with your festival ticket

the best campsite in benicassim is Bonet campsite, it is very close to the town, festival site and beach, the problem is it always get full and it is not cheap

But you will find yourself spending a lot of money on the freshly squeezed orange juice at the top of the campsite.

3. Can't help you there too much I'm afraid as we flew to Madrid last year (biggest mistake ever). I'll be going to Barcelona this year as well though. Make you sure you book train tickets in advance, they sell out. We found this out last year where me and a friend booked ours but the rest of our party didn't, resulted in them all getting a later train from Madrid - Valencia because there were no seats left on ours and then having to buy first class tickets for the return journey.

Hi....i am really thinking about going to this this year, what with no Summercase and Benicassim turning into Reading by the sea Festival.
So, info...flight to Berlin i presume is the best? What´s the camping like? Decent sites etc or a complete nightmare?
Any info much appreciated.
