Why was some people’s first thoughts yesterday to blame the Israelis for the attack? Or some were quick to believe a terrorist organisation? The BBC seemed a main culprit in this and shows certain things about them.

Because they basically admitted to it initially but then backtracked when they saw the death toll. Israel has a history of blaming others for sh*t it has done: see the murder of Shireen Abu Akleh.

But you seem like the type that'll refuse to acknowledge Israel is in the wrong, and will do whatever you can to turn a blind eye to the atrocities they are committing. Disgusting.

The local residents don’t like sound above 90db or any disturbance whatsoever, so putting in a stage three times bigger than the usual one, complete with pyro shooting fire 100ft into the air, is probably a non starter

Pretty sure theyd just adapt their show to fit the venue, rather than adapt the venue to fit their show.

So 100% definately not the spice girls then ? Just like there was no way Royal blood were subbing ?

That was wishful thinking, because it's a naff booking and I had hoped they might actually have someone decent subbing instead. Wouldn't be surprised if they were bumped up to replace someone anyway...

Alas, there's pretty much no reason why it would be the Spice Girls. The man can do far better than that.

I think if you’re in the field for Elton you’re probably not too fussed about better modern pop artists. Not taking anything away from him, but he’s pure nostalgia.

Bring me the Spice Girls and Britney.

    ???

I like older music and modern music, as do plenty of others.

He also likes propping up new artists such as Yard Act, and also has many collaborations with modern artists. It's not going to be Spice Girls nor Britney. If he's going to bring out an older act it's going to be someone(s) more prestigious

Just watching Elton's chat with Clara Amfo on iplayer and he said he's opening with a song he hasn't performed live in about 10 years. Anyone have any guesses as to what it might be?

Are You Ready For Love. Last played June 24th 2013. I doubt it will be anything else.

Not sure about Grohl, but McCartney and Springsteen had been guesting on each others shows, and playing together at RnR HoF ceremonies and similar countless times dating back decades.

Paul and Dave/Foos have done stuff together before. He even recorded a track with Nirvana*.

His interview on iplayer is pretty great. Opening with a song "I haven't played in 10 years" complete change to the current tour setlist.

Got to be Are You Ready For Love? , right? Last time he played it was June 24th, 2014...

Have been asked not to share it.

But 2 encores and good for fans of This Is Hardcore is all I'll say.

3 songs from it isn't much at all...

If you treat that info with any credibility*, then we've now exceeded the number given.

*I never did, because it said one of the shows to be announced was Eden Project which was never going to happen as that's an AEG affair and all of the other Pulp shows and Festivals are LN/SJM promoted.

The Eden Project thing was always bullshit. Source: I made it up.

    It would be cool though.

    Me …

I'm starting to doubt it. Royal Blood feel much smaller compared to Lizzo and Lil Nas X. Plus I feel like we would have heard a bit more if they were subbing...

    Bournemouth/Blur Fan?/Free Gig Ticket

Blur fans! Help me! Free Wolverhampton ticket!

Please can I just preface this with, this is not a joke!

I managed to get 2 tickets for next Fridays Wolverhampton show! My friend (who was driving) has now cancelled, I’m utterly devastated and I can’t get there on my own!

If there is anyone who is south based (I’m near bournemouth) and would take me to and from the gig, you can have the ticket free!

This is my last shot 😂 this would suit someone based in the south/Dorset/bournemouth, all you have to do is drive me there and back, and you get a ticket to this historic gig free! Please reply on here or message me 🙂 I’m happy to add on socials and send screen shots ect! 28 male

damn, i'd be well keen for this but I dont drive either.

    Have you tried Liftshare.com?

I'd have to disagree. I saw Kendrick on this tour late last year and the new album works so well live. I saw him on the TPAB tour and this was easily better. The album is so theatrical, he puts on a real show.

Edit: removed sentence because I can't figure out spolier tags apparently. Apologies anyone who didn't want to see setlist info.

Can you DM me the setlist info? I'm curious now...

The one I was hoping for is a lesser known name from Bristol, DJ Dazee. I saw her before Andy C a couple of years back. She blew him away.

She's doing a free show next weekend, 10 mins walk from me. Might pop along to it...
