Your own alcohol in all of the campsites is fine, its just when you try to get into the arena you can't take it, that's where all the bands play. hope you have an amazing festival and are excited as I am!

Can you drink alcohol in the festival and purchase it
You can take and drink your own alcohol in the campsite, once you try to get into the arena (where the music is) they take it off you but you can buy it inside, it's a bit on the expensive side though

who would you of liked to see?
I don't feel like it's the headliner that are any issue, I like maybe one of them slightly, and the other two would be interesting to see live (again) but most of the bands lower down the slots were relevant maybe 5+years ago. I'd love to see bands like Seagirls, Vistas, Fontaines, Sports team and the list goes on, these bands are a bit more relevant.

What a rubbish lineup, I had some sort of hope when they announced they were re-releasing it, had there been much more choice in live music to watch this summer I'd of been nowhere near this festival.

Ferries / Podpad Area queries
in Isle of Wight Festival
Posted
1) it shouldn't really matter which is closer, there's also probably no way to tell yet. (the island is also tiny)
2) yes you can pay extra for nice toilets, showers, and a USB charger/Locker
3) unsure about shower opening times but at every other festival I've been to showers are 24/7
4) think there is only ferries/hovercrafts back to Portsmouth/Southampton
5) it's a prime time for the ferry I'd say so yes, the ferry company suggests you get there 30mins before departure time so I'd suggest the same!
Hopefully you have an amazing festival!
