My Glastonbury in-car cd for the drive down opens with the sound of feet splashing through water before mixing into the intro track. Was supposed to be an ironic "Ha, remember last time when everyonge got wet, seems so long ago now we're sat here with the windows down hammering down country roads with the sun shining and not a cloud in the sky" type moment - how wrong that went!

i cant see where it says torretial rain on wed or thurs. showers and some more persistant rain.

i actually think Mr. Murr's forecast is alright. we already knew wed and thurs would be the worst days and those temps look quite pleasant to me.

Oh ffs. I really am getting a bit disheartened now.

I've been hoping so much that the forecasts would change closer to the time but now that it's close enought to predict the weather with any degree of confidence and it's gonna bloody well p!ss down for 4 out of the 5 days we're there.

Two months of dieting, £60 on sunbeds and a fortune on tiny little clothes to shown of my new figure in the sun and I'm gonna spend the weekend in wellies and a kagoule.

Oh right, how odd, in Temple Way it's monsoon style conditions. The type of rain that bounces back up off the floor, and it was like that in clifton from about 11 this morning constantly. Don't think it's looking very good for Glastonbury unless the weather settles down. We're getting a day of sunshine then a day of torrential rain at the moment.

im scared. the high pressure system which i thought might come through and save us for the friday/saturday/sunday seems to be weakening
