[Favourite Set Ever]

Some of my R&L favourites:

Kings of Leon 2009 - Had seen them the previous December after OBTN was released, and the new setlist just didn’t quite work ... at Leeds they were incredible

Lethal Bizzle 2009 - just crazy

Kassidy 2010 - FR tent, first band of the day, hardly anyone there ... was absolutely amazing. Really gutted they didn’t kick on and become huge.

Crystal Castles 2011 - I’ve seen them more than anyone else. Jane’s Addiction pulled out so CC effectively headlined the NME (they didn’t put anyone in to replace so no one played after CC’s sub slot). Alice Glass was a fucking warrior.

Justice 2012 - been dying to see them again ever since

Eminem 2013 - probably the best gig of my life

Mura Masa 2017 - was just an awesome party

2008- Florence on the FR stage

2011- The Streets on the NME stage. Got into them just after this, after they’d split.

2012- Alt-J on the FR would’ve been cool, the year before they headlined the NME which clashed with Eminem so I missed that too

2013- Wish I’d stayed for more of CHVRCHES set. Left after the third song to watch Skrillex
