  1. Had a go at a prediction poster based around names that have been floating around, other festival lineups, who's touring, who's got new music etc. Some are probably off placement wise and some are probably wishful thinking but I can see a lot of these being there

  2. This is a mix between what I wouldn't mind seeing and what could be possible, not necessarily what I think it WILL be

MSE: Dua Lipa / Chvrches / Sigrid
MSW: Lorde / Olivia Rodrigo / Phoebe Bridgers

MSE: Doja Cat / Cardi B / Becky Hill
MSW: Tyler, The Creator / Little Simz / Jack Harlow

MSE: My Chemical Romance / Architects / Maneskin
MSW: Paramore / Rex Orange County / Wet Leg

The festival seem to be booking similar style artists for the same days to shift day tickets rather than spreading them for weekend tickets

  3. Think it's pretty likely that we will be getting 2 Metallica headline sets like they did at festivals in the states last year. What do we reckon? 1 greatest hits set, 1 album set? Next year will be the 40th Anniversary of Kill Em All and 35th of And Justice For All. Would love to see either of those albums played

If only.....love the additions of grimes, circa waves and code orange!

However Weeknd is currently biggest artist on the planet on Spotify, and Lana + Dua Lipa are also enormous. First 2 would probably never play reading and Dua is minimum co-headline size.

Well I wouldn't mind Dua Lipa knocking Gerry Cinnamon out of his spot tbh, or put her where Capaldi is and move Capaldi subbing Gallagher

  5. What do you reckon the chances are of Slipknot headlining next year? Or at least fairly soon? They're one of the biggest live metal bands going, had a number 1 album, seem to have a pretty broad range of fans and R&L aren't exactly afraid of booking heavier bands. I think they would go down really well at R&L, would be a nice change from them always doing Download

  6. Doing Leeds festival for the first time this year after deciding to give Download a miss after going there every year since 2012. There's probably more acts I like on the Download line-up but it will be nice to see a few different acts i've never seen before at Leeds (Download has gotten really bad for booking the same bands every other year). Over the moon with Rage Against The Machine being announced. At the minute it looks like my plan is to see (this could change if clashes change):

FRIDAY: Georgia, Black Peaks, Run The Jewels, Creeper, Idles (Back half if they clash), Rage Against The Machine

SATURDAY: Lyra, Wallows, Fickle Friends, Holding Absence, JPEGMAFIA, Stormzy (back half)

SUNDAY: The Hara, Beabadoobie, The Bronx, Girl In Red, Liam Gallagher (back half)
