  1. Thanks.

Any chance that you could post a screen-shot that shows what the error message says, or type what it says? I'll at least then know if it's the same problem, or a different one.

(I can't replicate the errors on my 5 computers here).

  2. I'm amazed every year at them queues at the Orange tent. Sooo many other more productive things you could be doing.

Surely, when most modern phones last a maximum of 1/2 days on a charge, when you're going to spend 5 days in a field (and you know you'll need to use your phone) it's common sense to buy spare batteries...non?

  3. I might give that a go - the only SK book I have read is Rose Madder and I thought it was mediocre - but it was years ago, and I can still remember the bit where one of the characters gets hung off a door knob by her eye socket. So I guess he must be doing something right!

What other SK would you recommend, (not Cujo though)?

  4. I stayed there in 2007. Most of the site is full of people for Beni, but there were a few families staying there too who were not. We didn't encounter any problems and we had a french family staying opposite us.

During the day most people hang around the pool area lounging about before getting ready for the night time again. By the time you get back to Bonterra in the early hours it is quiet, a few people are about having a few drinks, but to be honest most people had just crashed out by then! There wasn't any wild/loud parties going on put it that way.

There is a supermarket opposite the entrance to the park which comes in handy and it's a good 20/30 minute walk to the festival site. But I'd recommend it to anyone, gutted I didn't manage to get a bungalow this year. Have fun!

  5. I would actually advise ANYONE who is flying with Ryanair to re check. They also changed our times from Dublin to Reus without informing us. Chances are they are doing it everywhere.

I would also advise arriving VERY early for check in as chances are they also are overbooking the flights and you don't want to be bumped off it, which they can and will do. HATE!

  6. I think I average spending about £250-300 in the past few years. That's from arriving first thing Wed, until Monday afternoon and with all food and sheds loads of alcohol bought on site. You won;t spend that much if you're only buying 6 pints a day.

I'd recommend taking cash if you can, saves the hassle of having to queue for the cash machines.

  7. Thought they were brilliant last year on the Thursday. Always one of them bands who, from the top of my head, I couldn't name many songs. But as soon as they played I think I knew almost all of them.

One of my highlights of last years festival.

  8. I don't think it's sad at all, I got to the point where I realised that if I didn't do stuff on my own I'd be waiting forever for others. Yeah it's cool if people want to come with you but just remember that you are heading to a place with about thirty odd thousand other people who have similar tastes so if you are an approachable type then its certainly not difficult to make new friends
  9. We booked an apt in Beni for 1500 for the 2 weeks ( 15th -29th ) , reckon we'll hang around for the week after and maybe head down south for a few days .

3 double bedrooms + pull out couch bed. 2 bathrooms , swimming pool etc....

8 of us goin so work out not too bad for 1500....Ive done my time with camping at festivals around europe . Still have to get flights sorted though..

  10. Does anybody remember a picture that surfaced in the days after a glasto a few years back. It was of the monday morning at castle cary station and it was of loads of muddy festival goers sat all over the platform then in the middle of them was some guy stood up in a freshly pressed suit reading teh financial times or something, was a very funny picture, would love to see that again.
