Not the right sort of band I'd say.
I’m sure you said the same about The Amazons before they were announced

These last 2 headliners must be big.

Probably an unpopular opinion but i actually hope it isnt Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes. Would have loved Deftones but the tour with Gojira in the US that starts at the end of July probably makes this unlikley. Still think Architects or FFAF could be decent shouts.
Would love architects but they are surely too big

Come on then who’s the other headliners? Other big names on the lineup? Time for another announcement I think let’s get some names talked about

Is it just me, or are the announcements getting a lot slower this year? I'm sure we had our second headliner around about this time last year
Yeah man I’m expecting another headliner tba soon. Need to decide which festivals to actually get a ticket for.

While The Kooks would be mental, they're also seriously running out of options here.
While The Kooks? Is that a tribute band that combines while she sleeps and looks songs ?

Its a shame. I think he would have been a really good booking. Eminem and Stormzy aren't my cup of tea tbh. In an ideal world Id have RATM, TS, LG and BMTH but thats sort of just copying coachella isn't it
Melvin compared travis scott to RATM prior to his set in 2018, 2 years ago? Too early to come back

Strokes announced shows this month in Berlin and Paris, with a Belfast one leaked on the venue's website for 6 days after Paris (suggesting a London show). Reckon thats APE out (someone on the thread for them to return) and maybe Reading too. Surely no finsbury anymore too
I swear the strokes played last years APE?

It’s Royal Blood isn’t it. Can definitely see it with the This Is Tomorrow announcement.
Probably with Sam Fender - Declan McKenna - Sundara Karma to make the top 4
I’ll be BUZZING if it is

it is no longer available. you could only purchase it until late Nov (if i remember correctly).
Oh bollocks
-
Why isn’t there a ticket instalment plan on the website ?
-
Could royal blood be one of the headliners ?

Even if Liam Fray has slagged off APE in the past, who in the world thinks they are big enough to headline? This festival isn’t small, this isn’t truck festival or Kendal calling. APE is big. Courteeners are not big enough, maybe a filler slot for an AM headline.

What an announcement. So many bands I love on there, and still 2 headliners tba

On that basis I’m predicting Supergrass, Elbow and either Catfish or Ian Brown. I would say Ian Brown but if one of the headliners has played before I’d say Catfish could return. They’re headlining Community this year and headliner Truck ages ago, and they’ve grown since and are a much bigger booking now. Back then they were the “headline Truck, sub Y-Not” booking, but now they’d be the biggest headliner on the lineup. Definitely justifies re-booking.
Source that catfish are headlining community ?

The increase in price and capacity makes it seem like they've got something up their sleeves for sure. Jimmy Eat World is a big booking for them but not massive I don't think.
As i said earlier in this thread I thought the remaining headliners were 2 of Idles, Frank Carter and Neck Deep. Idles are exclusive somewhere so probably Reading, Frank is playing 3rd at Download that could rule him out.
Where did u hear frank carter is playing download ?

Do we think lineup will be majority of 2020’s?
