Anyone heard anything else at all about Community festival as it's quite late to relate the lineup now

the crowd would love dexys too or someone but it doesn't mean they would sell a ton of tickets - gerry could do it in a few years but not yet
Okay, but personally, all my mates are from down south & they all know who he is & enjoy his music- if you go on any indie playlist on spotify there's at least 1 or 2 of his songs in each one

Hannah Wants can't mix for shit! But hey lol
I have a funny feeling Hannah Wants is actually going to be there, as the twitter account of R/L started following her literally a few months ago- maybe she is, maybe she isn't ahah

It is a bad guess - Black Keys arent even playing Europe this year, Strokes subbing never gonna happen, Mallory Knox arent even a band.
I didn't really even read half of it lmao

So community still haven’t released the lineup, but I saw on Instagram that Kings of Leon are selling tickets for Finsbury Park on 28th June, the same day as Community this year. So does that mean that Kings of Leon are headlining??
I know they're not because the planning board thing says that KOL are the day after community finishes.. but can you imagine PHAHAAH KOL headlining community would be quite frankly awful- they headlined Reading/Leeds 2 years ago and my god. Never again.

Gerry. Johnny isn't big enough anyway way too much of a legacy act
Gerry did community last year and the crowd loved him though?

Not sure he could do it down South, a lot of my friends would just look at it and laugh honestly
Gerry or Johnny?

He'd be a "special guest" like blossoms were last year,
Gerry cinnamon could potentially be back as headliner this year his stock has risen massively over the last year

I love Johnny marr but there's no way he'd be a headliner
Contradicting what I said, I totally agree with you, but on the other hand if they did have him I feel as if they would bump him up to be a headliner as he’s technically a ‘legend’ the smiths were quite big at one point- & I feel that community wouldn’t have anyone back 2 years running necessarily unless they are quite small like Vistas or something.. so that would rule out The Hunna, Blossoms, The Kooks, Don Broco, SWMRS, Sea Girls, Gerry,, etcetc, but idk

Johnny Marr or Hippo Campus- two very different acts but two which could fit i guess (Johnny marr would have to be a headliner if he was to go imo)

wow just gave them a listen and they sound like a dollar store AM
they do, but to be fair to them they may have AM's sound but they have written their own songs & they're managing to get booked into a lot of concerts/festivals this year

Has anyone ever seen The Reytons and if so let me know if they're half decent live- think they'll be on the lineup somewhere (obviously not main stage) the vocals give me an Alex Turner vibe phaha.

The streets have victorious and SW4 already so would only be able to do reading or leeds
Probably reading as the other 2 festivals are south

Gerry Cinnamon and /or The Streets have got be nailed on here? Gerry's gone from selling out O2 academy venues to doing a full arena tour and selling out Hampden stadium within a year, merely off the back of supporting Courteeners on their Winter 2018 tour. Would draw a big pool on the day i think, like him or not he gets the atmosphere going - new album out in May too.
The Streets are doing victorious the same weekend so they’re very unlikely unless they do 3 festivals in a weekend (victorious, reading & Leeds) however Gerry is very likely only seen him announced for 1/2 festivals so far

Wheres this announcement then🤣

I have 2 tickets for NBHD Weekender- Weekend tickets (2 days), Headliners are Ian Brown- from the Stone Roses, and Catfish and the Bottlemen) I'm selling the tickets as I live down south of England and am not going to be able to make the trip up to Warrington this year. Selling the tickets for £90 each & original price was £127.80 including the booking fee, the tickets are fully insured as well.

Courteeners are less big in London, so if they’re going to do an outdoor gig in the south then headlining this would make sense. The wombats actually last played in 2017, so I wouldn’t rule them out. They’d probably sub this but could even headline, I’m not sure they’re any smaller than the kooks who headlined last year.fair points there dude, I feel that the vaccines could probably come back again- they're not up and coming anymore but would still be nice to see them.. however I don't know yet haha- okay yeah, the wombats could as I messed my years up- so far i'm pretty sure they're only playing at NBHD Weekender & possibly trnsmt as others haven't released lineups yet.

Courteeners // The Wombats // The Big Moon
Feel like this could be very wrong- the courteeners are way too big to headline the likes of community- more likely to headline ynot or truck festival imo. The wombats were there in 2018 so it’s unlikely they’ll be back this year.
Trnsmt 2021

So tomorrow’s announcement could either be about the TBC acts or it could be about rescheduling the event to September?
