On the poster where it says plus special guest next to migos and two door cinema club will that act be a guest of one of those like as part of their set or does it mean another artist is playing a set.

Are rage an expensive booking im not fully clued up on them, im not against them being there just wondering what to expect from the last headliner and under card so I'm wondering if a big chunk of the budget has gone on RATM.

It's the adult version of Christmas eve I definitely wont sleep tonight
-
It's just for Barclay card customers pretty sure they did it last year and the year before too
-
Anyone have any idea of when the lineup will be out what day and time is most likely
-
Did blink get ruled out probably just coincidence but one of the usernames has blink 182 in they've had thousands of comments asking for the lineup so could they be dropping a subtle hint have R&L ever dropped hints in the anouncment of an anouncment

I know a good few people who have bought tickets for other festivals and now not bothering with R&l do you think the sales will take a hit with most festivals having already announced lineups even if the lineup is amazing people might not be able to afford multiple festivals. someone must have some information eventhough previous year the lineup was announced earlier I seem to remember there being some pretty strong rumours this year there's nothing

Just think people are getting more caught up with who they want people have narrowed it down to about 5 real contenders but I believe its alot more wide open than that

Could Mumford and sons be a possibility with BMTH one day coming off the back of a tour and last played 2015 I think I'm thinking it could be LG Mumford and sons with BMTH and still convinced stormzy will play think we can also expect to see atleast 1 of courteeners Gerry cinnamon or catfish and the bottle if not more

from what goes on, it seems to be the case that they can be booked perhaps as much as a year before they're announced, but also sometimes just a few days. It seems to depend on how well the booking process goes, whether they get their targets, whether they say yes straight away or keep them dangling - and then sometimes back out, etc, etc, etc.
Ah thanks

Generally how far in advance is a headliner booked does anyone know and if in artist is touring how far in advance do they book them shows what are the chances of inactive artists and bands headlining.

Seems there is quite a difference in what the reading festival goers want and what the Leeds festival goers want or is it just me, is it getting increasing difficult for the festival organisers to cater to both festivals

If they release a new one before 2021 I could see them co, with maybe Billie Eilish on the Friday night, with Stormzy Saturday and Green Day Sunday
For me this would be great for 2021 I like appreciate alot of different types of music and would enjoy the variety in these headliners but by 2021 I think Billie will be big enough to outright headline so could see maybe catfish and Bastille co headline stormzy or Billie and green day or killers.

They said they’re not doing festivals this year. RadioX instagram confirmed this
Fair enough just getting bored of the same rumours and questioning other possibilities going to have to think of a few other people surely it can't just be out of the 4 heavily rumoured ones not that I'd mind. I think 1 of the heavily rumoured will headline atleast but i can definitely see someone who's not had much mention headlining
-
Chances of Bastille coming back to possibly co headline I know he's not really a ticket shifter but he's gradually worked his way up in the festival and he put on a good show last year and got booked for the John Lewis advert not checked if he's doing anything this summer but could be a possibility seems to have a Good relationship with the festival just trying to throw new names around rather than same old also is there anyone else people would like to see again higher up this year that played last years festival
-
Is the lineup likely to come out close to payday for alot of people alot of people are typically skint in January and they might not have had everyone booked by Christmas so waiting until just before or just after January payday
-
Can see a huge shock coming someone no one was expecting or someone everyone seemingly ruled out
-
Are arctic monkeys a definite no I know they're not active but if they've got new music coming after the last album being poor they might want to put on a good show at R&L and get fans excited for new music and tour also what are the chances of imagine dragons being there seen them mentioned in a few mock up posters

Hearing they aren't bothering building the main stage this year
-
Thinking it will be MCR and maybe waiting to see how the new courteeners album goes down this month to see if they could headline alone or whether they need someone to co headline I think they will get away with not having a rapper headline by having acts like Dave and aitch quite high up
-
What's noel gallager up to R&L weekend even playing different day to Liam would surely gets fans excited and shift tickets
Lineup 2020

Lewis capaldi is perfect for a secret set could get him in for a decent price and wouldn't have the difficulty on where to place him also hes style of music would be too much for a headline but playing a secret set should keep fans and capaldi happy.
