Phil Jupitus just before Acid Mother's Temple
Paul Foot at... somewhere I was drunk
Jo Whiley introducing The Killers on the sound desk, followed by being tapped on the shoulder by specialized security half way through their set who were snaking her through the crowd to the front. I got a high five. What a godly looking woman upclose..... -
Update on PGD, just overheard someone saying the queue goes all down the hill and back up the tree line.

I have grown a beard and I'm worrying about the same thing. But then I'm constantly finding stuff to worry about... Maybe I'll just take some clippers and shave it off if they doubt me.

OK last opportunity to buy some wellies. I've already got two pairs of shoes including some high top converses I'm willing to get messed up, plus I'm coming by coach and I have heaps of stuff to carry already. What do you guys think?
Bring them. If you don't bring them the gods will curse us all.
In all seriousness, no harm just to be on the safe side no? Worse case scenerio is you don't need them and have a little extra weight

It was not rain overnight, it was simply a liberal application of tent peg insertion assistant.
Peg lube. Got it.

And I wanted to sleep in this morning. Now I will be obsessively checking this thread to see when it stops raining on the farm.

Looking forward to meeting some of you lot on Wednesday. My first year on the forum and it's elevated my hype levels 100fold. That and the weather thread.... I feel we've been through a lot! See you at the festival!!

Right, time for the 00Z!
Pressure: Builds through Wednesday but now probably reaches its height late on Thursday, so later than before. As with the 18Z, pressure only really starts to drop on Saturday afternoon and is lowest on Sunday - almost identical to the last run.
Precipitation: Rain from 3pm today for a few hours, but shouldn't be very much. Possibility of light lunchtime showers on Monday and a little rain overnight into Tuesday.
Still dry and pleasant when the gates open:
There is still ZERO rain for the entire festival.
Max Temperature: Monday 19-20, Tuesday 22-23, Wednesday 23, Thursday 22-23, Friday 24-25, Saturday 22-23, Sunday 19
Summary: Almost perfect festival weather with an exceptionally similar forecast to the 00Z. If anything now, we need Sunday to go up a couple of degrees. That is below the average temperature for the end of June.
All of this, including Sunday, is still being governing by the behaviour of that low. We still need that high to stay strong and next weeekend is NOT in the bag.

So, here's the 18Z run through....
Pressure: As before, builds to a high through to Wednesday before dropping on Friday. Higher pressure stays in control until dropping a little on Sunday.
Precipitation: Rain on Sunday 3pm to 9pm, and a little bit more overnight to lunch but it's not very much at all.
There is then NO RAIN AT ALL worth mentioning throughout the whole festival. Not even the overnight rain into Wednesday. This is how it looks when the gates open, cooler than previous runs at 16-17 but dry.
Max temperature: Sunday 20-21, Monday 20, Tuesday 21, Wednesday 19-20, Thursday 21-22, Friday 25, Saturday 22-23, Sunday 19-20
Summary: This run a bit of an odd run because it has downgraded temperatures MASSIVELY with only Friday having above average temperates for the time of year. Will be interesting to see in the next few days what agreement there is elsewhere on this.
That said, the actual run itself here is almost perfect festival weather. Completely dry, not too hot.
