  1. Just realising that this year will be the first year since 2015 that we'll actually get our tickets in the post - we've had to wait until the coach arrived at the festival for the rest.

Thanks. To be honest, I haven't had 1 for a while. Over doing things & a lack of sleep caught up with me. I have slowed down a lot and thry have improved. It's a year since I had 1.

I am nervous about a potential heatwave though.

Hope you are ok with your issue too!

I've never had one at a gig or festival thankfully - mine were work-related for the most part. If I could just harness the part of my brain that manages to switch off the dark thoughts whilst at a festival it would be amazing back in the real world! 🙂

I've heard that for a smaller boutique camp site they start 3 weeks before 1st arrival, but that is a small crew.

I'm sure I've seen someone on here say's a relation works there and it's about 4 weeks.

It's a serious amount of canvas.

2019 was awful. The Saturday was spent by most of my mates back at the tent trying to cool down.

1 of them was in a bit of a bad way.

I was ok, but didnt enjoy that day at all.

2017 was decent weather for everyone.

I'm actually dreading it being so hot. I've suffered with Panic attacks over the last 3 years or so. Often brought on by over heating. Had 1 in a queue for tesco in a heatwave during lockdown. I'll take 5 days of rain before a heatwave.

It took us nearly 3 hours to get from WV to West Holts on that Saturday, finding shelter where we could. Was a bit much alright!

Sorry to hear about your panic attacks fella, I have some experience in that area myself, and they are horrible. I hope you can make it through the festival without those bothering you.

Looks like some trucks up at Worthy View, might be dropping of tents.

Any ideas on how long it takes to set up all those tents?

So do we think Four Tet will headline the Park on Friday night - that could be my headliner sorted for Friday - never seen a park headliner so that would be aces.

Trying to remember Jon Hopkins' time slot, think he was on as headliner so precedence for a similar act? Pretty sure he was on after Spiritualized but might be getting that the wrong way around.

  7. The sound at Park is well up for Four Tet - Jon Hopkins there in 2016 was sublime. In fact it was so good the bass caused me to have to have an emergency run to the longdrops near the start of his set. I made it!

Does anyone know if the Graham Hancock at the bottom of the poster is the same Graham Hancock, author of Fingerprints of the Gods, etc?

I think it is - he was there in 2019 as well I think.

I wonder is he booked? I haven’t seen his name yet. He played on the glade in 2019 during the headliners, tiny crowd but it was fun.

Caught him just after The Cure, was pretty rammed from where we were standing at the back! Really hope he's back again.

That gate is just to the right of the stone circle field next to the strummerville entrance., behind the trees near to some very decent longdrops

Oh yes, WV regular here - they are usually in great order!

The trees the fence has just reappeared from would seem a great jump-over point.

Pretty sure that's the main security gate at the bottom of Worthy View steps/top of Pennard Hill.

    NYC Downlow do we think?

Well he's listed for AVA Festival in Belfast, any sets I've ever heard from him have been pretty banging techno. Mind you I'm going back a few years here to Shine when it was still in the Mandela Hall (RIP).
