I can recommend Ojala in Madrid for a nice lunchtime sandwich and cool hangout spot for a drink :D

My favourite place in Madrid is Taberna de Ramales near the Ópera metro, amazing tapas! Also Mercado de San Ildefonso is pretty good albeit expensive and kinda touristy. El tigre is also a pretty good spot with the locals I've heard...

Could Lizzo potentially come in as a sub headliner to The Strokes?

Seems she has available dates in July and hasn't played Mad Cool...

I think considering they've already got Taylor Swift AND Billie Eilish, they're not gonna want to book another female American pop singer for a headliner

Where did some of the names on this list come from? I'd be very happy with Jamie T, BBC and Fontaines on the undercard.

Haven't heard any rumours about Jamie T being back on the scene circulating though

A lot of them were me just speculating and suggesting names of acts I like. I also included bands that hadn't toured in a while (Jamie T) or that had tours going on (The Sherlocks & BBC)

I'd be hopeful of more good names too.

    The clashfinder in 2018 had 121 (40, 40, 41 per day).

    In 2019 over 3.5 days, it was 111 (16, 32, 32, 31)

    This year we have 4 days at 100 (21, 28, 23, 28)

It's not 100% accurate as the odd band are missing - but pretty close.

As they're selling all four days as full days, you'd assume we'd be looking at approx 30 a day minimum, especially as they're spreading them over 7 stages. That would leave around 20-30 acts to come, which matches up with their final announcement last year, and in 2018.

At this date in 2018, there was still another 31 act announcement to come (Feb 6th), which had Dua Lipa. Underworld, Post Malone, Jet, Ben Howard and Paul Kalkbrenner, so, while it may not reach the 40 a day of 2018, I'd expect another good announcement with some well known non-headline names.

Totally agree, comparing 2018 with this year - the three lines under the headline slots for all three days are still pretty big acts, whereas this year (especially Wednesday) the names in the headline undercard feel a lot smaller in terms of popularity than 2018 so we could see either a few bigger names displacing the current undercards to a little further down like 2018 did, or smaller but still well known names bulking out the other lines.

Either way, definitely expecting a substantial announcement in the future, even it does end up being in March or April

    Headliners:
    The Strokes

    Green Day
    Fall Out Boy
    Post Malone
    Tame Impala
    Black Keys
Biffy Clyro  (could be small name too)

    Small names:
    The Lumineers
    Bastille

    The Pretty Reckless
    Wallows

No rumours on the small names tho (besides Bastille playing FIB and The Lumineers playing NOS Alive)

Feel free to quote and add headliners or undercards!! I'll be re-posting from time to time tho.

Idk why but add The Weekend to the list - I think he's got an album coming and could see him doing a few festivals, and he hasn't toured properly since 2017.

Catfish and the Bottlemen could be another small name. What do people think about these acts:

Picture This, Rural Zombies, The Sherlocks, Bombay Bicycle Club, Two Door Cinema Club, Jamie T, LANY, St Lucia, Fickle Friends, AlunaGeorge, joan, Larkins ??

One or two from that list would be nice

One of my friends has suggested Bastille. Idk if they would be headliners but me and my brother would love to see them playing this...

They definitely wouldn't be headliners, but it's possible - they played in 2016 so enough of a gap. Only thing is that they'll be undercards for sure, and do you reckon we've already got the allotted number of undercard acts?

Managed to get some seated tickets for Milton Keynes but I'm still really hoping they do Mad Cool so we can see them standing. They added the second date straight after the first one sold out if anyone wants to get tickets for that date!

That guy in the thread earlier was right!

Does anyone know where you can get a 4 ticket or 4 day pack? Website says sold out

    Are there any other outlets?
    Thanks in advance

I think if it's sold out then it's sold out... You might be able to try spanish ticketmaster? Failing that, the FNAC 4 day tickets are available for only €30 more, and that includes some extra bits. Better than buying a 3 day and a single day hahaha
