Are secret sets common at fib? Anyone any ideas of where / when?
-
Just seen they've released the times for wrist bands etc, I assume the accreditation is like press etc and won't need to fuck about in two different queues?

Yeah that’ll be legit then. Fucking hell its some trek this year after crossing the bridge over the dual carriageway. Will be some laugh doing the return leg not being able to function at 5am

Yeah you do get a blow up Matt, so don't worry about that. My top tips would be: Go into town and get a cheap polystyrene cooler box, they're worth their weight in gold. Keep food and drinks cool for absolute ages. Or, get a sturdy plastic one and you can use it as a seat. Costs a bit more but saves you €12 on a camp chair.
When you buy crates of beer etc, do it in town because it's mega cheap, take a towel down with you and tie a knot in opposite corners of the towel, put the knot over your shoulder and use it as a sling to carry heavy shit with you. Easier to carry and also gives you two extra hands to carry more. Better still, if you have a car, load it with beer on the first day, and then youre only a few mins away from cheap beer all week, you only need to buy ice, which you can get on site for €3 a bag.
Wear sun cream 10 factors stronger than you usually wear, being burnt takes the fun out of it.
During the day eat in town. It's cheap and it's good. At night eat in the arena, it's better than any festival food I've eaten before.
Where possible buy smaller glasses of beer from the arena, the big ones mean you don't have to queue as often but you always end up drinking a warm beer by the time you get to the bottom. It works out the same price as a big one.
Anything else?
How are they with glass on the campsites? Canny hack tins ae lager

Not seeing this tweet anywhere? Can someone send us the link

Surely is they had Paolo in the wings he'd have replaced snow patrol?

Not convinced beni could afford capaldi, his strong ties with DF concerts probably got him to trnsmt
-
Jess Glynn dropped out of trnsmt, she's a fairly notable name, chance for a decent act to join fibs line up

Anyone any tips on keeping phones charged? Except the obvious portable charger solution

I am really really struggling to get excited about this festival. Please can somebody point me in the direction of something that is worth actually turning up for? Currently only really interested in seeing FBS, FF and GC. Any suggestions?
Sea girls have some big tunes, never seen them live but imagine they'll be up there. Kol if it's your thing are always a strong act. Heard blinders are pretty interesting but can't say it's my thing

First bus back is at 4:00am, and unlike the train it drops you straight off at the airport! Ive used them every year as theyre cheaper than the official Benicassim buses!
Glad to see someone's booked with eufest and had a good experience. Booked this thinking it was the official transfers (kind of like big green bus doing UK festivals), and was worried they might be shady

Fatboy slim and kodaline will be good, action might be worth a visit
Lana, 1975, the hunna and gerry
Kol and possibly ymas
Franz, Ezra and hot dub

At the stage where nevermind who they might add to this shit show, more concerned about if they have more to add
-
The snuts or lafontaines would. Be nice nice. The academic and Dmas would also be a good addition.

Picture this
Sundara karma
Circa waves
I'd like to see bigger names, but fairly certain that's not going to happen.

Are day splits generally the final announcement and full line up?

I’ve not myself but when I did camp I’m pretty sure there’s people there to point you in the right direction 24/7. But then again I was tanked up on cheap wine. But there was people turning up at all hours with tents and camping gear
Cheers mate, if in doubt the juty free gin will be warm enough for a night

Anyone ever arrived at camp fest at 1AM Wed into Thurs?

Not that at all pal. Seen some excellent acts outside that genre last year - J Hus, Travis Scott, Friend Within, Hayden James etc.
She’s just shite.
Very very much agree. There are brilliant acts out there outside of the alt/indie rock genre, just a shame beni haven't signed many of them up for this year.

Need to check some of the smaller acts to make this worth the cash.

Easier to ignore a shitshow line up with the killers LG, kasabian, nutini etc headlining

Have we considered Carly Rae Jepsen? She's releasing an album with a circuit rumoured to start for July. Emotion is one of the best pop albums of the decade and think her set in the sun would be gorgeous.
Phahahahahahaha oh ya c**t a canny deal with this anymore, this what this line ups came to?
