That is true but if you have got £5000 then he will find some for you

As most of us would agree the rich can always get tickets whilst we can only dream of a secret resale.

  2. Don't put pressure on yourself to pick a place or time, just go with the flow. You'll know when the time is right.

Having said that I proposed to my wife at Glastonbury on the last night in the John Peel tent after the last band had finished. It was her first Glastonbury and I wanted to wait to see if she liked it, she said she loved it. So I asked her to come back next year as my wife.

As for a ring, I brought a fork/spoon ring from one of the stalls that was made in the year she was born. I slipped away for half an hour on the Friday and hid it till Sunday.

Good luck in all your future adventures as mr and mrs, marriage is ace!

Oh if she didn't like Glastonbury i wasn't going to ask her, she still thinks I'm joking...

sorry, I didnt mean to be so aggressive. It's an emotional issue. Please stay and give as good as you get!

I`m a strong believer in free speech, I`ve worked hard(ok I`ve worked) for more than 30 years under various governments and as we all know none of them live in the real world(at least not mine). My granddad would turn in his grave if he knew what the labour party had turned into,we are a docker family or were until machines made our jobs easy for us infact so fucking easy they didn`t need most  us any more. TI want to be free to travel this world, which i will do either in or out of the EU. I am a human being and a english man and being in or out of the EU makes no difference to that.

Don`t worry about being aggressive my shoulders are broad and I`ve a shit brewing so my son had better hide.

Has anyone said otherwise? It's your right to take a shit directly on your sons head and you've exercised that right.

    Congratulations, you're a cretin.

Bless you for your wise words.

Three generations of my family went to Glastonbury this year a 18yo a 46yo and a 71yo.

We all believe we should be free to do what we like, not what other people tell us what they think is right.

  7. I proposed to my now wife last year, it was her first glastonbury and after the annual new york new york in the john Peel tent i asked her if she enjoyed the festival? she said she loved it, so I asked her would she come back next year as Mrs overton and she said yes. We came back this year and it was our honeymoon.

  8. Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo FOOKIN hell just missed out again, a 44 year old man is now going to cry. sold out.

  9. All sold out now see tickets just tweeted.

There goes my last fleeting hope of attending Glastonbury this year.

Barring a miracle, I will be away from the forum until after this years festival. Can't sit here and talk about Glasto when I ain't going! Thanks for the good times everyone and here's hoping that I manage to get tickets for 2015...........

Feel the same as you Mungo, once again gutted.

  10. I have no insider knowledge but I assume they just couple them up with empty spaces on the coaches they have already put on?

I`m guessing most of the returned tickets are coach ones, because coach tickets go on sale first people buy those in case they don`t manage to get standard tickets. If they are lucky then they cancel the coach ticket.

    Just a guess.

  11. Hiya tilt me and my son have stayed in the family camping, cockmill Meadow field the last 6 times and it gets filled quicker and quicker every year. Maybe if only families stayed on there it wouldn`t be so full. Toilets are always spot on up there and its safe.

    Have fun you lucky man.

  12. I need help to please, the only problem I have is I`m a lorry driver and can be away all we without get to a computer. Is there anyway somebody can very kindly phone or text my when they here of a secret sale so i can phone seetickets. Somebody very kindly did this for me a few years ago(10ish?) but can no longer remember her name sorry.

my number is 07917518216 my name is Ian.

    Thank you x

  13. This year (if we`re lucky) will be my 15yr olds 8th time and 6 of them was just me and him. You and boyh your kids will love it,but be prepared to want to go to every single glastonbury festival from now till you die, thats how good it is.

Drunks,99% are happy drunks so don`t worry about them.

Food take as much as you can, saves you a lot of money, unless you`re well off enough to not worry about it.

If you can take a wheel barrow as the walk from car to camping can be long especially with family sized tent and a weeksworth of clothers(cos you`ll always pack too many first time!!)

    cheers ove.
