are Bombay Bicycle Club worth holding out for? I’m sure they said new music and live dates coming soon ...

Just wondering what the deal is with collecting wristbands?
I went to Mad Cool last year and the queue system was awful on the first day, but at Primavera Barca the year before we were able to collect the day before, which saved a lot of hassle.
Is Nos a similar situation to Primavera, or is it a free for all on the Thursday?

Perhaps Massive Attack were due to be announced, but after they cancelled the US tour they are holding back on the announcement?
I was meant to catch 'em at Mad Cool last year but they bailed last minute.
Also - Tame Impala new music is a possibility, but are they headliner material for Nos? They weren't THAT high up at Mad Cool last year.

After a fantastic 2017 and a not-so-fantastic 2018, I've taken a punt on who I think will headline TRNSMT 2019:

What does everyone think to my predictions?

Surely we already know that most of the acts playing Mad Cool will do this too?
Vampire Weekend would be a dream. The announcement of Download from Smashing Pumpkins would be greatly appreciated (by me and I guess a lot of others??). Hopefully something is announced soon!

I think Foals and Tame Impala are both likely, that being said both were on the 2016 bill along with Chemical Brothers and The 1975 who also seem realistic and I can't see them booking all four again. They haven't said where Bon Iver will play, personally I don't think they'll headline especially when you consider The National, Jack White and Nine Inch Nails didn't this year.
I still think there's some headliners who haven't announced their about next year, there has to be or everyones going to be sharing Muse, The Cure and Mumford and Sons ? As much as I love Foals I don't think they'll headline, again for the same reason I don't think Bon Iver will, but both would make pretty strong subs, for me anyway.
Mad Cools announcements will be a good indication I think, comparing the two last year I'm sure The National, Two Door, Kooks, Chvrches and Khalid were the only ones they didn't share, from this poster anyway.
Chemical Brothers could be a shout - especially after their APE announcement this morning. They were superb at Alexandra Palace last month & I imagine a late-night Lisbon slot would work as well.

Realistically who else will join The Cure and Bon Iver as headliners?
The National's confirmation at Mad Cool would usually suggest that they'll also be at Nos, however they played NA this year so can't see that happening. I've seen the name Foo Fighters floating about, but I doubt they'd return so soon after their stellar 2017 slot.
Foals have all but confirmed their new album will be out next year and after co-headlining Reading and Leeds I am sure they'll be ready to be quite high up on the Nos Alive line-up. Tame Impala are always worth a punt, too, and after a fantastic show at Mad Cool this year it is evident that they'll bring people in.
My guess is that the next 'headliners' to be announced will be:
Massive Attack | Smashing Pumpkins | Foals
NOS Alive 2020

Really enjoyed Nos this year & just booked our apartment for 2020. The lineup this year suited me - seeing Thom Yorke in such an intimate surrounding (given his/Radiohead standard) was incredible.
I think there are 10-15 acts that will be thrown into the ring as potential headliners (Foals, Tame Impala, Black Keys, Post Malone, A$AP Rocky, Green Day, The Killers, Nick Cave, Blink 182, etc.).
What we enjoyed most was how chilled out the whole festival was - especially compared to our Mad Cool 2018 experience - and regardless of the lineup we’re excited to be back in Lisbon.
