  1. I'd have no idea what a real / fake Scottish note looked like so therefore wouldn't accept them if I was a vendor in fast moving murky environment like a food stall / bar at a festival. I don't want them as change either because I don't want the hassle of using it.

I understand the frustration for Scots. Genuinely interested to know - what proportion of notes in Scotland are Scottish notes?

  2. Also, it should be mentioned that Jo Whiley trying to be professional whilst blatantly wanting to say "THAT KAYNE SET WAS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF UTTER SHIT I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE" was probably worth the license fee alone. She is almost in tears trying to make up something to say that doesn't get her in trouble. Brilliant.

  3. Thought it was phenomenal coverage yet again. Six main stages all live and full sets available as soon as they happen. Can't argue with that!

My only feeling is that BBC 3 could start coverage a little earlier so they actually show the stages live from more daytime sets, surely that wouldn't be a major expense given that they're filming and streaming it live anyway?!

Gemma whatever, yep bloody annoying, but having listened to some the bulbs on Radio 1 these days I think she is about standard.

    Alice Levine. Marry me?

  4. Sorry to hear this, always worth following the advice, split your alcohol, split your cash, keep your valuables on you or by your head - or at bottom of sleeping bag. Use lockers if you have anything else valuable (or better still don't take valuable things).

Someone unzipped my tent on the first night last time I went, I will never know if it was an honest mistake or they were on the take. They didn't hang around when they found me inside!

  5. Whilst I'd never personally have one, and none of my mates do; flags are essential for finding people in the crowd - until they move and stitch you right up :banghead:

Also very helpful on campsites for finding your tent from afar.

Always curious as to the people who carry flags though and why they personally bother and what they actually mean. E.g. I stood next to the North Korea / USA combo at one stage. This kid carrying it, must have been about 18. I thought about asking him but ultimately couldn't be bothered.

  6. Clever ticket marketing really. They can now claim it to be "sold out"

    It's not at all.

Anyone who paid a deposit of £50 has £40 given back to them. They've lost a tenner...

I suspect they'll be a reasonable amount of tickets back on sale, far more than there should be for a "sold out" event anyway...
