  1. DX are an absolute bunch of pricks. Fianlly managed to find out how to get the correct tracking number the other day and saw that they were going to be delievered at any time before saturday to my parents house. There'll be no-one in this week so went to the website and arranged re-delivery to my work today. I did this because it says all over the site that deliveries are made between 9am and 5pm which is when I'm here. Even had 2 emails - one last night and one today confirming that they are being sent out today between 9 and 5. Just rang up a bit ago to double check that they were being delivered as it's getting close to 5 and starting to get a bit worried, only to be told that the delivery times are between 8am and 8pm!!! So obviously it's going to come later when I'm not here which I'm seriosuly pissed off about and going to have to think of some other option to get them delivered, can never remember it being this much of a pain in the arse!!

  2. log into see tickets tracker thing....scroll down to the 'contact us' bit, and where it says 'enquiring about' there will be a number (which is different from the oder reference number). bang that into dx tracker along with your postcode when prompted, et voila. probably, maybe. depends if youre tickets are with DX. this worked with a friend of mine without her tracking number.

  3. Just the sort of lineup i was expecting, few things i want to see, but know that I'm guarenteed to be entertained 24hours a day for the 5 days I'm there haha :P But what the f**k is going on with the dance village lineup?! Looks like simon cowels organising it! A few years ago you had a bit of a mix between some cheesy more commercial stuff, but a lot of decent underground electronic music, some good techno etc. Last year and this year it just seems, well, shite!

  4. And if anyone was up at 5am on the Monday just before the final storm began...we were in Lunched Out Lizards watching the sky and the flags outside. In a split second it felt as if the whole site was picked up and twisted 180' and we (it wasnt just me) witnessed the flags totally start to fly in the opposite direction! It was at this point we all got up and announced...we are going home now...and raced the oncoming wettening home.
  5. I feel in the same boat, I've had stuff on my mind that's been making me feel depressed and not excited which I'm not going to go into. But then my mum rang me before and told me my grandma has been rushed into hospital and is probably not going to make it thru the night B)

And now I'm just finding it next to impossible to muster up any sort of happiness or excitement for going ;)

  6. So I have a dilemma - having been on these forums since 2003 (eek) and been to several Glastos, people here talk about Mr Rolf with a high degree of fondness, and I've always meant to check him out as people seem to infer that he's usually a Glastonbury classic.

However being an expat Yank and not having grown up here, I can't say I know many of his songs or his act, not having grown up with him - I mean I've heard "Tie me kangaroo down sport" etc but only in passing.

So my question is, how much of seeing Rolf has to do with reliving your childhood, and how much of it is because he's a good performer? If I go am I going to feel like a spod when everyone else is singing along and I am not?

  7. Mmmmmm interesting, theres a few new ones on that, im particulary interested in Ben Sims :D:D was looking forward to catching him at T but now i can see him at both.

I also note theres still no sign of Mr Cox

  8. I have just bought my tickets for Glastonbury... today!!! I thought I had missed out and just tried my luck. Spread the word. if any of your friends have missed out let them know. I did it through See Tickets. they've not advertised it and it's not even mentioned on the Glastonbury website homepage. Strange. But if you just type in Glastonbury in the search engine bit... it comes up!!!!

Good luck. I don't know how long this will last!

  9. Had a some tickets to see him up in glasgow this weekend but sold them due to being skint :P (and also hearing that he ain't too hot live).

Did get double what I paid for them though which kind of makes up for it, would still love to see him.

  10. Like others have said, electronic music with a bit of meat to it is few and far between, but you do get the odd act. Last year derrick may was pretty good, and system 7 (I think) in the glade on sunday was pretty bangin. I found that titled disco in trash city was banging the techno out in the wee hours the few times I wandered in their last year.

  11. Normally doesn't hit until I get home Monday night, I spend all of Sunday night/Monday morning out partying making the most of the last time! There's normally plenty of others doing the same, and such a great atmosphere. :)
  12. Another blaze at ME. :(

Let us not foregt that whatever he does or says he still manages to put on the best festival in the world - bar none.

Sorry but I'm am getting pretty tired and may have missed any irony in the above comments but please stop with the negative sh1t. It is so tedious and anti Glasto.....

    Roll on June.

    :D
