I've always gone with good old fashioned wellies, I can't get my head round dealing with muddy laces if the weather is bad!
I've been to some seriously muddy ones and always take wellies, trainers and flip flops for round camp -
Keep an eye out on here, there's someone selling an East campervan ticket so you might get lucky with a west one

So do you mean your friends who are in the campervan have a campervan ticket, and you want to pitch your tent next to them? I think you can just do that, you don't need a campervan ticket if you're not driving one in - but you'll have to park elsewhere and then carry your stuff across to the campervan field, you'll get a pass out and then you can pitch up.
Could they take your stuff in the campervan so you don't have to carry it all?

I've just had my coach times through and my return is 6.30am on Monday - OUCH!! How strict are they on that? I've never done the Se Tickets coach before. If I turn up late will I still get home?

I don't think they will, the new MIF team are very keen on the line up being different from what's been programmed before, so I think because Damon's done so much at MIF in the past that won't happen

I spotted earlier that there's a facebook group called Glasto Gals Solos.... so you could join up there, I'm not a member but everyone on the general Glast Gals FB group is lovely

Have you checked out the coach options? I've found the coach much easier because it'll bring you right on site to Gate A, rather than the train where you get to Castle Cary then have to get a bus on site - have a look at National Express, they run lots of services
