And most likely a pile of pretentious, self indulgent shite.
... (and I am/was a huge Muse fan!!)
I did say interesting.
But I agree, most likely shite. Also a fan.

First Aid Kit!
A new Muse album would be interesting.
-
Radiohead - Nude
Elbow- Lippy Kids
First Aid kit - Master Pretender
Such a great festival this year, as always. So many more I could of chose too.

The best place i've found for keeping a cool tin is in the car. Take what you need for weds/ thurs and leave the rest in the spare wheel compartment. Only drag is doing a statigic car run Fri/Sat morning. But you will have cool beers
I agree! I've left cans and bottles in the boot of the car and it stays cooler and then just do a couple of car runs in the mornings

Biffy - In The Name Of The Wee Man
London grammar - Rooting For You.

So gutted when I heard this! One of the best voices ever!

Read the lyrics, maybe over thinkibg it but it does point towards that somewhat.
Only got to see them twice but i'm sure they played that last quite often, might be wrong?
I'd say over thinking but that's just me.

Decent track. Expected nothing different. Pretty sure they're going to tour the fuck out of this album anyway, so wouldnt matter too much if they're missed.

The story is about Biffy subbing Ed but The Park info is more interesting.
I think the thing that shocked me most was that The Park is celebrating it's tenth birthday!

I would love Pulp to come back and do another secret set. I know they won't, but I would love it.
It's a shame Biffy are before Ed!
Be ineresting to see who does the secrets sets.
Dave Grohl solo acoustic? I can wish.

After watching Neil Young, hearing the news that Michael Jackson had died.
But my main memory from that year is Blur -Tender. How fucking good was that!?

There's no point me checking Clashfinder until Avalon and Leftfield have been announced. And Acoustic, and Caberet.
Totally agree on this. During the day I tend to be at these stages the most.
Be interesting to see who Bragg has at his daily round up's this year.

Don't want this thread to die.
Didn't see anyone suggest Kate Tempest at any point, so here she is. Spoken word, poet, playwright, rapper - I imagine she is a very marmite act, but she has some very cutting and thought provoking lyrics with a consistent standpoint - pretty much consistently pessimistic but some people will love that.
She's really good from what I have heard from her. Went to see her last year on the Hell stage but from where I was standing the sound was terrible. Will try and see her again though.

Depends how far away you live I guess. We've never driven home from Glastonbury early (I get that annual leave locked in the second the deposit is paid) but in the past we've headed home from Reading after the headliner on the Sunday. Left at 11 and was home, showered and in bed by 3am. Was basically a zombie at work on the Monday but worth it to not miss the Foos!
Very true on where you live. Haha I get my leave as soon as it comes! Yeah, I've left Reading many times after the headliner. I don't think it's as bad as there's not as much walking about as there is at Glastonbury. Especially through that mud that always happens to come! That's some commitment going to work on a Monday! But you're right, anything not to miss the Foo's.

Although. That's what sick days are made for!

Personally, I would drive up after work on Wednesday, and then leave as late as possible on the Sunday and drive overnight.
Why waste a whole day off on driving home when you could spend both the days off actually AT the festival and just have a sober Sunday?
Driving home late Sunday night is a killer imo. Only done it one year and was nearly falling asleep at the wheel. I find leaving at 7-8 Monday morning is normally fine.

Can I have another one?
Royal Blood - Hole
I fear this won't get many outings when the new material is added but is the song I've enjoyed the most when seeing them when they played it.
Great shout! As you said with the new material can't see it being played much though, which is a shame. Especially at a festival too.

Radiohead - Knives Out
That'd be amazing!

Started with High Violet as a couple of you said and I wasn't disappointed! Will definitely be listening to them more before June, to get familiar.
Cheers!
