I was at Glastonbury last week so know about rain and mud!
I bought a gortex coat to go with and it really worked. I've been to t a few times and have always used a shower proof jacket but the one with gortex was so much better. Luckily I bought mine in a sale so it was half price.
As for the mud, I wore shorts with wellies. I found it much easier to just flick or brush off the mud when it dried. Much better than jeans that can get heavy when they're wet.
Hope this helps.

I noticed Davos, the lad who plays piano house classics on a keyboard is playing. Look him up on YouTube.
I didn't miss the era so it's right up my street and he's great to listen to

Thanks everyone, loads of ideas there. I'll definitely steer clear of a heater.

It's my first time at Glastonbury and I'm seriously excited! I've been to other festivals but always stayed offsite in a b&b. I have camped before and know nights can get chilly. I was wondering if anyone could advise me on a camping heater.
1 Is it needed in the first place?
2 Which type should I use?
Cheers

I saw a bright yellow Henri Lloyd gortex in TKMAXX today. It was a bit pricey at £99. The gortex bumps up the price but will keep you dry

I haven't camped before so can't answer most of your questions. But I have been through both the day and camping entrance and yes they do have sniffer dogs.
I've seen a few people pulled out.
