Yet our government will do nothing, they should speak out about this nonsense.

And I'm not sure they should. Other than maybe "They trust and hope the US election was fair and just". Even though we know its likely all a load of rubbish, if we believe in a democracy then surely allegations of voter fraud have to be investigated in a correct manner. I mean what if just this one time the guy is right? Surely 60+ million people who voted for him are owed a fair election?

Personally I think its all unfounded and a load of bull. But i wouldnt want anyone who voted walking away from it believing it was fixed...they may never vote again.

I'd suggest some kind of an airbed or camp mattress to make it more comfortable for her. Not saying she's a diva, but the shock of hard ground and no power showers ain't going to make a day's start the most positive, that way it's easier to extol the joys of the rest of the festival.

Yeah already managed to aquire a decent raised airbed, and thankfully already have one of those hazelock showers.

Its funny, she originates from the Philippines yet is scared of all our completely harmless (for the most part) creepy crawlies.

Anyway think i got most bases covered now, can always take a morning off to recharge and reset if it all gets a lil to much.

Evening bag. Day bag. Morning bag. Toilet bag. Bag to carry all the bags. Body bag.

Aye for sure, just a shame i have to carry the other 3 peoples booze/waterproofs/diet requirements around or id be all over that. Though using a daysack as a 3 person body bag might solve that issue.

  4. Tbh arcade that type of bag is probably the best, especially if solo (not having to lump someone elses stuff too). As you say the way gravity works it has less impact on the space around you. Isn't cumbersome in the slightest. Might grab something like that for the evenings.

  5. Well i packed, then packed the car. Mainly to see how much space i could afford for a coolbox before I bought it. Now its all unpacked, some in a mound in the garage, the rest in use (clothes etc). Tight fit this year, stupid rigid coupe boot. Still it did enable me to also go through it all and put some in an "not essential but chuck it in if room pile".

  6. Costco have got the Igloo equivalent to them Coleman Xtreme coolboxes atm, they tend to be a bit cheaper, keep cool/frozen for upto 5 days exactly the same. Igloo also been around a bit longer. Tbh theres not much in them overall. Their closest example to the 50qt coleman extreme is probably this one, also it comes in £15 cheaper http://www.costco.co.uk/view/p/igloo-maxcold-island-breeze-62-quart-rolling-cool-box-198846

  7. Hi,

Dan here, 35 y/o and from a small village in the South Hams of Devon.

This will be my second Glastonbury, the previous one being in 2014. Will be going with the same 2 mates I went with last time, plus my new g/f "yay lucky me" (except she has never even been camping, let alone a festival, thrown in the deep end me thinks).

The previous time I went, we kind of roughed it with the bare minimum of kit and hassle (which ideally would also do this year), however know that its more likely to the camping side of things (weather, lack of easy cleaning etc) that could give the biggest impact on her enjoyment or lack of...i've glamped it up a bit to make it less stressful for her, but more for me :S Time will tell i guess.

Keen to soak the atmosphere up this time around instead of soaking up all the contraband to excess, and see and explore areas i couldnt even wobble to last time.
