Giving the new Balthazar album a go based purely on the album artwork. That’s how I feel I look waiting patiently for live music and festivals to restart

It seems a good enough reason to have a go too

Psychedelic Porn Crumpets new one is fun. A lot of good drugs in Australia at the moment it seems.

Good fun. Very king lizard-like but like 3 albums ago.

Was waiting for delivery of Arctic Monkeys live album today. Postman normally comes about 11. Waited till 2:15 & decided he wasn't coming. Popped out to the shop & came home to a 'while you were out' card. BOLLOCKS! Won't get it until Monday now.

    Has anyone heard it?

Went to the shop this afternoon, planning to listen it right after finishing skinshape. Was not familiar with him and it popped out on my radar today. Really nice, some warm music folky-groovy-acoustic

I happened upon Olafur Arnalds when listening to 6music earlier this week (think his new album was album of the day)

Anyway, I'm loving the album so keen to dig in to his back catalogue as well.

    Anyone here a fan?

Big fan. Saw him live with his last release re:member, worth seeing; he developed a program that triggers 2 pianos and joined with chords, so dreamy. His side project kiasmos is cool too if you like more techno stuff. I think Olafur and nils frahm are really the top 2 tier players of this new  contemporary classic scene

Which one do you reckon its worth starting with for someone who has never listened to them before?

Start by untitled(black is) and rise . For me these 2 are more accessible.

I’ve seen her at Wow daytime and it was good as well, nothing as heavy as Genosys, just perfect for sunny day. Then Genosys happened and I couldn’t pick my jaw off the ground. It was something I’ll remember forever and wish I could relive it all over again!

    If only, we could ...

The next day I checked my phone I reached 60k steps and jumped the equivalent of 2 floors. I kind of wish I could drop into her DMs to get the tracklist

  8. I am right now very obsessed with this HAAi set! I don't know why it was so special but it was. My Friends went to her B2B with Dani Avery at BH and they were not that impressed , so it was probably the combo of a perfect place, crowd and setlist.

Argh! They are touring the week after Glastonbury, but I might be a bit of quivering wreck by that point. Damn.

    How were they? Nice guys?

Really guys! They added us on their list for a TV recording tonight, where they will play their new record. Yesterday we had the chance to listen the new album and it is brillant stuff

  10. Hi there,

Camille, this will be my 4th Glasto in a row. We are travelling from Paris. We started just the 2 of us and now 8!! Last year we were 5 from Paris , we convinced a friend to travel from Singapore and 2 from Venise and one from London, not the typical group. We can be pretty convincing :)

This year because of an unfortunately change of postcode we missed the general admission for 2 of our friends. Still hoping to be lucky during the secret sales. A girl can dream...

Cannot wait to be back !
