  1. Hi Everyone,

Not long to go now, hope everyones getting excited! Just wondering if anyone can advise, this will be our first time taking the campervan and due to childcare we're not going to be able to arrive until Friday morning. Does anyone know if we will still be able to enter general East that late? And will we likely be miles away from Gate c?

    Thanks!

You’ll have to let me know what it’s like. Mines on Thursday via a webex of some kind.

The training was good, the sound on my recording was a bit iffy but could read all of the information fine. I'm now complete, just waiting for the pre-fest email now with arrival times! See you on the farm ?

That’s weird, I dunno how it could be too late for an online session.

I haven’t had any pre-festival pack through yet, have you had anything?

No not yet, I'm watching the training recording now then I have to email them once I've watched it so assuming I will get something back after that. All quite last minute!

So they've just sent me a recording of the online training as they said it was too late to enroll on it!

if you have google chrome, download a web monitor called distill and set up to track the my festivals page, make sure you’re logged in obviously and set the refresh speed to the lowest which is 5 seconds and then keep that page open on another tab, you’ll then get a ping every time the page changes. You can add an instant email notification aswell so make sure you have pop up notifications on your phone so if you’re away from your PC you can still see the ping in your phone, so whenever there is a change make sure you give it a refresh and hope it’s glastonbury!

Thanks, do you monitor the whole page or just a section? Also, how do you add the notification? Thanks for your help! :)

Wow!! What a 48 hours, all 3 of us secured places with Oxfam! If anyone needs any help with Oxfam let me know and I’ll show you how I did it!

If you could let me know how you did it that'd be greatly appreciated. I've been keeping an eye out but can't refresh constantly!

    Thanks

  7. Me and my group of 10 unfortunately managed no tickets between us this yr, hoping and praying for luck in the resale! One thing that strikes me as unfair is after November 1st people can register for the first time and apply in the resale. Surely it would be a fairer system for only existing registrations to be eligible in the resale?

Got the coach from bristol 2 years ago and it was outside @bristol. Unsure if this has changed.

I messaged See Tickets asking this earlier - they have confirmed it is from Anchor Road, opposite City of Bristol college

It is seconds. I had the form ready to go. Pressed proceed the second the site when live, it hung for a couple of seconds so I pressed send again, waited for probably about 5 seconds and then went to the main page, clicked on buy tickets, cut and pasted in 4 reg numbers and postcodes hit proceed and got the sold out page. Didn't even get as far as the payment page and I'm very quick at cutting and pasting.

I don't think it was even 90 seconds. Felt more like 20. In the past I've brought tickets in the secret sale in under that, the pages respond immediately so it literally is seconds.

This was exactly the same for me but i was only trying for 1 ticket so even less copying/pasting!

The Bristol see coaches depart from Anchor road, outside the At-Bristol Science Centre.

Last year they went from outside the Double Tree Hilton on Redcliffe Way, not sure about this year yet as it hasn't been confirmed

Anyone know of any decent deals on a 3-ish man tent? In 2015 I bought this one which I think I actually found through this thread (at the time I think the usual price was £90 and I bought it half price at £45). Was perfect but I unfortunately left my poles by accident last year and struggled to buy replacement poles for it.

It's only for me but I like to have a bit of space in there.

Edit: Just Googled the tent to see if I could find it anywhere for a decent price and Google threw up the eFests thread where the half price deal was posted. So yeah I did get it for £45 that year.

This is a great tent, used it the past few years but there's more of us this year so had to get another. I bought the red version last week from Millet Sports - £45!

Oddly, if you want it in green it is double the price!

  12. If anyone is available to help Sunday I'd be extremely grateful. Fortunately I already have my ticket but my brother and best friend just missed out (got through to select coach last pm and all sold out when proceeding :(). Thanks
