I don't think Depeche Mode are big enough to headline. They maybe were once big enough to headline but that was a long time ago.

They haven't had an album go Gold here since 2005 and nothing has got higher than 1 x Gold disc. Compare that to even someone like the XX who may be on the cusp and they've had a Platinum record.

    Very true

Had my Manchester tickets through too.

Train gets in at 18.00 so not sure whether to just go straight in or have a beer or two with mates beforehand. Some of my favourite pubs in Manchester are nearby Knott, Britain's Protection, Rain Bar, Peverill of the Peak... but I can imagine they'll be heaving.

    Britons protection is ace!

    70cl Tanqueray gin
1L Captain Morgan spiced gold rum
    1L Captain Morgan white rum
1L vodka (not bought yet, probably Absolut)
4x330ml tins of Brewdog Elvis Juice
10x330ml tins of assorted Beavertown beers
    20x330ml tins of Rekordelig
loads of mixer tins of tonic, ginger beer, coke

Should do for two of us, might add in 70cl of tequila as well tho.

The more cans you take the bigger your sense of achievement once you've finally got to the area where you want to pitch. If you can lug 40 cans on your back a mile or two then you can take over the world

yep sure does, 2 slabs of cans to keep me tipping along over the 5 days/nights. punctuated by otter ale from bimble and avalon.

Is lt based on info you have?

I know they are about that weekend as they're doing an Eden session on the Friday.

I do love a bit of  Blondie so I'd be made up.

Nope, just the gap between Eden session and Dublin on Saturday.

This will make life way easier than when I was last there in 2010, thanks in advance for your efforts!

In 2010 I got to the park in time to see Jonny Greenwood and Thom Yorke thanks to Worthy FM.

    Twitter alerts will be great!

Friday and Saturday looks like there will be various visits to The Park for me.

Mark Lanegan and Flaming lips on Friday and Moonlandingz, Sigrid and Songhoy Blues on Saturday

    Unlike Hall and Oates

I can go for that and Margo Price

Are you allowed to play any music from the festival itself?  Sometimes it feels a little bit isolated from what's going on. A set or even a snippet of something on the smaller stages would improve things a lot, especially once it gets going.

    that would be good

  10. The otter ale onsite is yummo! I'll be taking a mix of cans of ale, greene king and speckled hen last year.

I wish proper job came in cans. Tasting sessions Monday and Tuesday in Glastonbury town to decide what I will be bringing in this year :)
