Frank Ocean was due to play his first gig in years at Hangout then ended up playing it at Northside.

Neither was exactly a big deal, festival-wise for someone of his reputation.

That said, still think something is fishy about today's 'fake' announcement. What kind of twisted mind would invent them playing at Waterloo Bridge tomorrow?

This bit doesn't feel that unlikely - off the top of my head, Julian Casablancas played at House of Vans before an album launch (tiny venue) with <24 hours notice, Beck did the same somewhere in South London with his new album.

The thing that makes me think Arctics are probably playing is the reaction of the people who have seen the lineup in the videos. I think Arctics playing would generate that sort of response, whereas none of the other rumoured/basically confirmed would.

Also, Alex seemed to love it when LSP played a few years ago.

Yes it took up precious setlist space on that first night in Amsterdam, as did Videotape. I don't think it'a  ny coincidence that they were immediately dropped from sets for the whole of the rest of the tour.

We arguably had the worst setlist of the tour night 1, and the best on night 2.

Daily Mail is terrible, and I was a bit annoyed they played it, but Videotape is beautiful.

They were obviously really nervous for night 1 but it was still a great gig. Roundhouse was better though.

I think the fact they haven't played it yet actually makes it more likely to be honest! They're bound to throw in some more different tracks for next year and Just would be high up the list. It was on a few set lists this year, albeit not played, so it's obviously in their mind.

Just as the opening song for the final encore would be awesome. Or the opening track altogether!

Just, Nice Dream, Where I End And You Begin & I Might Be Wrong are their "sound-checked but not played" songs for the 2016 tour. Would love any of them to be brought into rotation next year.

They will definitely do Street Spirit. I also think they will almost certainly do one out of The Bends, Planet Telex, My Iron Lung, Just and Fake Plastic Trees.

I'd agree with this, with the exception of Just. They haven't played it yet this year. They could of course introduce it for next year's tour.

but the festivals they've just played at were full of festival friendly greatest hits...

...in line with setlists for the rest of the tour. This tour has been festival friendly greatest hits, much more so than the 2011/12 tour was.

  6. Radiohead will play whatever they want to play, they have never really done a festival-friendly greatest hits set anywhere they've gone. The 2003 headline set was full of HTTT album tracks, an album which was released at the start of June 2003.

The set will probably be the same as the ones they've been playing this year. Will have to see what the US tour next spring looks like (if rumours are to be believed about there being one).

Actually, Gabi said tickets sales these last two days have been amazing. It seems they are blaming the price rise on having to compensate for selling out earlier than expected this year and the subsequent loss in income from sales of full price tickets.

    PS17 pricing:

    - 145€ until 12 pm on 22nd June

    - 175€ from 12:01 pm on 22nd June until 7th January 2017

    - 195€ from 8th January 2017 until line up is announced

    - 215€ after line-up announcement and until festival

    Ouch.

Hm, crowd was great where I stood. Super happy people dancing and singing but you could here theneedledrop during songs like Daydreaming.

That's good, maybe I was just unlucky.

Brian Wilson, Deerhunter, Sigur Ros, Moderat... all amazing. Great last day.

  9. I'm probably spoiled by Radiohead crowds but i thought it was a dreadful crowd for them. Non stop chatter from about 10 people back in the front bit. I moved back in the end for a bit more space and peace and quiet. I also thought the sound was seriously quiet, felt way louder for Savages and Deerhunter right now...

Fun little festival setlist though. Relieved I got Talk Show Host and 2+2=5, now seen basically every song I wanted to this tour.
