Warning: That is not the official facebook page of Primavera Sound in Porto . That is one created by fans.

The official is this one https://www.facebook.com/nosprimaverasound/

My bad. Just saw the name and thought it would be the official one

It´s unbeliavable how bad is the RIR line-up comparing to NOS Alive, for 69 euros a day it should have been a great line up everyday, and RIR has a 90.000 capacity and NOS has a 55.000. At least i save money because i can´t even bother

The 2016 edition was a joke tho

  2. Primavera Porto’s fb page posted a photo with this description in portuguese(i’ll try to translate with my own words):  “The line-up of Primavera Sound Porto is almost finished, the more apparent date to come out is between 9th and 13th of February.”

Could be... All those different rumours are a bit strange, so no simple answer. We'll just have to wait. Don't get your hopes up too high for a (headliner) annoucement for tomorrow.

Combining Porto and Lissabon does not seem very likely. But neither does PS and Mad Cool.

If it's not AM, we probably get another amazing Thursday headliner, maybe better than AM.

I guess thar AM are “too much” for the usual NOS Primavera Sound’s line-up. However, lately, these rumours have made me question if this band is really going to be the final headliner of NOS Alive.

Wow.. Thank you ! And wow... My favourite is Eu Esperei... He reminds me of a softer Glen Hansard (by the way it would be awesome to have him at NOS after his euro tour with Eddie Vedder even if he already gave two dates in Portugal during the current tour). He knows how to lead emotion. When the horns come, it's just stunning...Cançao do Engate is stunning as well.

This version of Eu Esperei at 1:07:12 :

Eu esperei is a great song too. Actually, we ,portuguese people, are very thankful for the presence of a great portuguese musician and songwritter on palco NOS, instead of Agir ahah

Just listened Tiago Bettencourt for the first time and I love it !! Can we expect the crowd to sing loud his songs ? :) I don't speak portuguese at all, which songs are the most famous ?

The most famous songs are "Morena", "Maria", "Canção do Engate  (cover of another portuguese artist named António Variações) and "A Carta" from his previous band : Toranja. The last one was one of the greatest portuguese hits of all time

Rob Da Bank (head of Bestival) said Gorillaz aren't doing festivals in 2017, but he could be wrong.

Hinds played last year, but are managed by a FIB promoter so could well be there again.

Also Gabi of primavera sound said that the virtual band has no plans until 2018

Don't know how important it is and if this is the case in Portugal, but in my country The Weeknd is way bigger than the XX, he is considered mainstream, while the XX is more of a niche band.

XX are quite popular here. Nevertheless, Weeknd is far more bigger than the poor band , so I suppose that he should be the headliner of friday the 6th.

Just go to their website? You see it yourself?

The xx - Foo Fighters - Depeche Mode? How would The xx not headline that day if they're written down on their website next to the 2 other headliners?

Just send a PM to their facebook account and see it by yourself

Next announcement soon according to the Facebook page, who are we all thinking for the third headliner?

People seem to be thinking Pearl Jam?

I read an interview where the PJ's manager said that they have not anything planned for the next year besides the recording of their next album. I think that this excludes Pearl Jam in our guessings.

New to this but have been to Nos last two years, anyone thinks there's a chance of snow patrol as last headliner, should tour next year

Nah, i don't think so. Although Snow Patrol are quite popular in Portugal, they're not "that" popular to be headliners

Don't think I have ever seen this before, both the live act (Soulwax) and the dj set (2manydjs) on the same day on one festival. I don't know that much about them but normally I think that there will be quite some Soulwax material in the 2manydjs set so I guess that 2manydjs will have to play more covers than usual. Would be quite lame to have overlapping sets with songs that you could have seen live 2 hours before.

Still 10 acts TBA for the Heineken stage now. For the 8th I'm totally cool with some local Portugese buskers but hopefully they have some aces up their sleeve for the 7th and 9th. Maybe another act from Bilbao BBK such as Blossoms, Blood Red Shoes or Underworld (quite big for 2nd stage but so is Two Door Cinema Club)

Rick Smith from Underworld was interviewed by a portuguese radio and said that Underworld were going to play on Portugal in the summer.
