Would really love to see Daisy Rickman added to the rising stage, she's consistently putting out amazing folk records and probably my favourite of all modern english folk about at the moment.

There is a severe void of jazz on the line up for me also, perhaps bar Arooj Aftab
-
I wonder if anyone else on here has tickets for this years BF and had any thoughts on the shutting down of pontins and subsequent move of the festival to a different site and date...

I really like sleaford mod and seen them a few times, but definitely a weak headliner. Also gutting about a few emissions such as pixies, beth gibbons, tara clerkin trio, ulrika spacek etc… but hopefully see some more good stuff with acts to come.
Despite that though I am actually really chuffed with a lot of what’s on offer, omar souleyman, sherelle, osees, lemoncello & beak are some great highlights for me too

No beth gibbons is absolutely wounding

Would be better than pretty much any other touted headliner so far imo, but she isnt really a very green man booking so would say probably not.
she literally never misses though live and is one of the last truly great living legends that arent too big for something like green man.Yeah man i agree, seen her live a few years ago and she was amazing. Would definitely go down a treat if greenman ever took a chance on her

could grace jones be a surprise 'heritage' style headliner? aware her only dates thus far are a way before greenman
-
200 stab wounds is a great addition

is PJ harvey out of the running? I assume too expensive
-
Ah right I see, shame as would be great to have them on the line up

For reasons just discussed they're the absolute opposite.
what reasons have been discussed? last mention of them here was when APE announced them

Cannibal corpse were unreal on their last tour, Manchester was packed out. Would be good to see some bands like Tomb Mold or Mortiferium, but is a stretch for them to come over from the states unless involved with a tour. Autopsy would also go down a treat I'm sure

Would it be worth considering Belle and Sebastian on the line up somewhere.. would be a good alternative for the thursday headline slot if it isn't Jesus & Mary Chain. No dates in the UK as of yet except one Glasgow show at the start of Aug so theoretically free

Floor tickets the price for a decent few days away on holiday
yeah exactly my sentiments, would feel a fool for paying that

Ah yeah, fair points. I suppose I've misjudged their size. I was surprised to see they were supporting the Eagles tbf as I've always thought the dan to be huge, though they would still definitely pull a huge crowd imo
-
What would the chances be of a steely dan legend spot, albeit quite a bit of time between their manchester gigs and glasto. I think the general public kind of forgets the amount of songs they would recognise, even if from being sampled elsewhere. If not, they would make an incredible other stage headliner against Dua or Coldplay

Extreme prices for the eagles has meant that me and my friends, who aren't all that arsed about the eagles, have been priced out of seeing Steely Dan for the last time (Donny Fagen getting close to 80 now). A really shocking price and a shame as would happily spend £100 or so for steely dan in this climate, but can nowhere near justify the £150 for nosebleeds up to £450 for floor seating. I understand a farewell tour may be catered towards veteran fans but these tickets completely price out most if not all younger fans. You could do a lot more with that money, as mentioned, even go to Glasto and have a hundred in change. Mental

Who from the 2011 line up has the potential to be making a reappearance this year?
Having listened to his new single, gotta say I'm hoping it signifies a bit Squarepusher for Far Out.
would love squarepusher or the like to make an appearance
