Thanks, that's what I thought

Can anyone recommend a good route to get to gate A if coming from the west (Oxford). Would usually head south and come along the A303 but worried I'll get ushered into the east carparks. Will be camping in Darble and really don't fancy a trek across the whole site with all my shit. Considering heading to Bristol then down, but wondered if anyone knows a better way.

They're playing twice that day, short slot in the morning at the Park and an hour slot on WOW, 6-7pm I think.
The Apples definitely worth checking out if you're still up at 2am on Saturday

Happy to see Gary Clarke Jnr added. At work so only had a quick run down the list. Sure there's more... just need to work out clashes now...

Arrggh! Missed my ticket delivery, bank holiday too so will have to wait until Tuesday now :0(

I would imagine the printing company do them in batches and when seetickets receive them they ship them out. Doubt there's really much order to it.

Just got my dispatch email! Won't believe it until the ticket is in my hands tho...

St Paul & the Broken Bones & Floating Points the main ones for me. Can't wait to see the Apples, but I've known about them for years (just never seen them live)

Definitely don't chuck it, that would be crazy
Plenty of folk in the same boat in here -
The thread linked there is for Reading Festival... The thread you want is called 'Going alone? Join us' or something along those lines (sorry, don't know how/can't be arsed to link to it)

Quantic just self confirmed. West Holts.
Awesome! Another for the must see list. Starting to get concerned that there might be some clashes now

How about the Apples (Isreali Funk Band) at Shangri-Hell
, or for something very different Shibusashirazu Orchestra (Japanese...er... nutcases)

5 weeks from now I will probably be unconscious in a field somewhere... and sunburnt

Yes, these guys look like lots of fun
The Apples and Craig Charles will both be awesome!
Roni Size and Adam F too.
Might be spending a fair bit of time in the naughty corner...

Does anybody know how busy big ground gets? Location looks good for us but wouldn't mind a little room around the tent.
I haven't been for a few years but have always camped in Big Ground and it's always packed whenever I've been there.

It says on the website that 200mm/hr is equivalent to a tropical storm. If we get that sort of rain at Glastonbury we'll all be swimming home...

Long time lurker here, but this announcement deserves my first post. Nearly jumped out of the bath and tiggered! Possibly one of the best gigs I've had a long time back was The Apples, so much energy, I've not sweated and bounced so much before or after. Scratching Jazzy Funk!
The Apples are currently my No.1 'must see' this year. Still a long way to go tho...

I recently bought the arpenaz 3 man 2-seconds pop-up, and put it up last weekend. I disagree with a previous post about it not being dark inside. It was a sunny day and while not pitch black inside, it was very dark, easily dark enough to sleep in. There's side air vents which if rolled up will let light in if needed, you can also pull up the entire back of the outer skin of the tent for added ventilation (and additional light). I thought the inside stayed pretty cool, it was a hot day but not June hot, so we'll see on that one. Overall I'm really pleased with it. A bit of a bugger to fold away afterwards mind (pop-up version) but with a bit of practice that shouldn't be an issue. If I get a chance I'll put it up again this weekend and take some pics, if anyone's interested. As for carrying, I'll probably just hook the long strap over the top of my rucksack turtle-style, and try not to bash people with it in the queue (it's pretty big).

Current forecast is perfect in my opinion
Eh? Where did all the thunderstorms go?
While I want it to be mostly hot and dry, I want a little rain (perhaps Sunday evening?). Otherwise I've bought boots and waterproofs for nothing

The Apples just confirmed on Facebook. Playing on 25th. Not sure what stage but I expect West Holts. This makes me happy!
Awesome! Haven't seen them live yet so this is definitely on my must see list. Glasto still needs more funk!

There's been a couple of threads with people selling their car park ticket (usually cheaper than face value). Look a couple of pages in
