Surely there's not a single person that would hold off from buying a ticket to the Kooks at Community or in Oxford with the rationale that they'll see them at Glastonbury because...they'll be at Glastonbury, not in Oxford or London?
Logically, yes. But i guess Community will have control RE announcements elsewhere until they have sold enough..

KOL were pretty boring at Reading last year. Setlist wise, they played loads of the old stuff which I enjoy but they didn't interact with the crowd so it all felt a little flat. Maybe I was ready for home as we were off after they finished. Everyone pretty much was waiting for Sex On Fire.
The Killers always put a good show on imo. I thought they were great at the o2 last time they were here and the stage show was fab too. I'd be interested to see if the full band would get back together for Glasto as its just the two of them now? They have plenty of tunes too for the field.
The Killers lighting engineer/designer tweeted he’s working on a ‘large project’... Glastonbury stage show perhaps?

Odds have been slashed on The Killers headlining according to NME.
“’Somebody Told Me’ that The Killers could be on for another Glastonbury headliner slot this year – so we’ve cut our odds after they’ve been well backed,” said a spokesman for 888sport. “Brandon Flowers would certainly be ‘The Man’ for the job, and after a flurry of bets, we think they’re set to light up the Pyramid Stage once again.”
Saw that. Interesting.

I spent a good 3 hours in the greenpeace bar for/after Frank Turner in one of the raised seating areas. Was glorious. Popping to West Holts for a Goan Fish curry was brutal.
