Was BST marketed as that? I thought they just said it was a Kendrick show and wasn't exclusive

I honestly don't recall any other dates for that summer and I think the next time he took the stage was the one off show in Vegas. I always found that timeline interesting because I don't know what he would have played at BST had it materialized. Maybe they were planning on putting out Mr. Morale sooner? Maybe it would have just been a greatest hits  set like Vegas?

  2. Kendrick was scheduled for a UK one-off prior to the pandemic and eventually came back to do Glastonbury the following year so maybe that will be the case with Blur too.

  3. Give me some of these in addition to Prodigy or Chems and Fred and I'll be good - Braxe + Falcon, Weval, Mall Grab, Gold Panda, Nosaj Thing, Prospa, Moderat, Romare, CINTHIE, Dam Swindle, Mount Kimbie, Daniel Avery, TDJ, Krystal Klear, HAAi, SBTRKT, George FitzGerald, KETTAMA, DJ Python, Plaid, Lewis Ofman, Axel Boman, DJ Heartstring, Shygirl, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, Roman Flugel, Leftfield, Royksopp, Talker, Folamour, DJ Seinfeld, Avalon Emerson, Adam BFD, Overmono, 1-800 Girls, Sworn Virgins, Harrison BDP, X-Coast, Sofia Kourtesis, Vegyn, Shinichi Atobe, Janus Rasmussen

  4. Adding someone like Ryback and Cesaro would be pointless and completely strip the match of 'mystique'.

I think they idea was for the Brothers of Destruction to have one last go around, with it most likely setting up Taker's WM opponent.

I don't for one second believe GnR will reunite with the original or 'classic' lineups

It's more of a matter of when they reunite at this point. Most are convinced that they'll be playing Coachella this year.

So 'Taker and Kane vs The Wyatts will just be a tag match rather than an elimination match, what a waste for Survivor Series.

    Snore, what a waste.

Wonder if this was the plan all along? I still would like to think that Sting was originally involved in this match.

  7. Just a guess

    Quarter Finals

    Sheamus - Roman (Winner)

    Ryback - Del Rio (Winner)

    Owens - Neville (Winner)

    Ambrose (Winner) - Ziggler

    Semi-Finals

    Roman (Winner) - Del Rio

    Ambrose (Winner) - Owen

    Finals

Roman - Ambrose (Sheamus Cashes in)

  8. FL Studio. Formerly Orion, but it stopped being under active development.

I was last into production about 7 years ago. The biggest difference is the quality of the synths, mainly because of the vast increase in processing power. Virtual studios are one of those software problems that lend themselves very well to multiple processors. The good sounding synths (and reverbs) just used up too much power to use in real time, but now it can handle everything I throw at it without breaking a sweat.

Yeah I've always used FL Studio as well and it's been solid for me. Agree that the days of struggling with single-core processors are a thing of the past. I recently purchased a mac mini with an I5 and anxious to put it to work. Currently struggling with garageband though.

  9. You guys watched What We Do in the Shadows, yeah? Please do so if you haven't. Follow that up with all of Taika's stuff.

Also, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night was fantastic.

  10. I'm expecting Reigns vs. Cena for the title at Mania now. I'm not sure how we will get to that match, but you watch, it will happen. A proper passing of the torch moment.

I've been calling for this for awhile. Not necessarily at WM, but it's definitely THE way to get Roman over. Force the audience to pick from the two most hated baby faces in the game. Maybe the Cena-haters will hate him more than they do Roman. Or maybe they just boo them both.

On another note, don't count out Daniel Bryan.

  11. He was the champ for 9ish months, they must of had something planned for him it'd be a waste of the last year if they didn't.

I think the original plan was to keep the strap on him for sure. I'm still sticking to the belief that they would want Reigns to win his first title in front of the largest attendance in WWE history. I don't think he gets his hands on it just yet.

  12. It's a sad end to what in my view has been the most underwhelming (mainly not his fault) 6 month plus title reign since diesel 20 (wow can't believe it's been that long) years ago.

I was actually looking forward to Rollins v reigns which could have been an interesting 3 months feud. As they say absence makes the heart grow fonder and I think his heel character was close to running its course. I'm sure he will return as a face and look forward to seeing him in that role.

    I

I was really enjoying his heel run actually. Definitely wouldn't compare it to Diesel's reign. I'm mostly disappointed in that WM plans will probably have to change as a result. I just hope now they don't use someone like Sheamus as a last resort, champion-heel.

  13. Seth Rollins was injured last night in Dublin and has to now vacate the title because he will be out 6-9 months. So they are doing a tournament at Survivor Series to crown a new champion.

    NOOOOOOOOOO!

    Dude that sucks.

  14. Everlong is one of my fave songs ever, I absolutely love it to pieces.... but pretty much everything else they have ever done bores me to absolute tears. I remember seeing them in the far too small tent at their first Reading appearance and had such high hopes - and oh how they were dashed so quickly...

I enjoyed everything up to There Is Nothing Left to Lose. Everything after has been pretty meh.

They are at that size where people seem obliged to like them but dont seem to know why.

Think this also has to do with Dave Grohl's likeablity factor. Aside from his legendary status, he just seems like a down-to-earth, good guy. Though from my experience, they have always brought it live.

  15. I don't think they have as much appeal as the Foos, and I do think their live reputation and the fact no one really cares about their new music (do they?) counts against them.

Foos last few albums have featured some of the weakest output of their career, yet it seems they've gained more momentum than ever before.

They're kind of stuck between being a massive current rock band (like Foos) and being a sort of legendary band (like Metallica).

Definitely agree with this. Problem is that their back catalog hasn't aged well, so they don't have a Ride the Lightning/Master of Puppets to fall back on after releasing newer, shittier albums.

  16. Interesting to me that some of you consider Foo Fighters outright headliners, but can't say the same for RHCP/PJ. They're roughly on the same level stateside, though FF have been more active over the last few years.

  17. Nah. And this is the one time I can go as it's smack bang in the middle of the Easter holidays.

This is my first as well. Luckily this one is on my own back yard. Let me know if you have any questions about the area.

  18. Still pretty sure Muse and Coldplay are signed and sealed and Adele is still thinking about it

Does Glastonbury not have a radius clause in place? If so, wouldn't those O2/Manchester dates exclude Muse from the running?

Also, I remember reading recently that they came out and said that they wanted to play this year - which would make for a weird sentiment for a band already booked to headline, yeah?
