Current wish list judging on albums of late last year:
Kool Keith
RTJ
Danny Brown
Prophets of rage (although not looking likely judging by euro fest clashes)
repping UK I'd love Riz MC/Swet Shop Boys, Loyle Carner, Trim

I remember losing my friends/tents etc in 1995 and being allowed to sleep in the Hare Krishna tent - they were amazing, gathering all the lost souls and giving us somewhere safe to sleep! I completely forgot to look out for them in recent years so will have to make a special pilgrimage next year.
-
Lady Leshurr and Vince Staples were two of my highlights last year, and RTJ the year before... can see De La Soul doing a West Holts stint too which would be good... I do wonder if Kendrick/Joey/A$ap ask for too much $ though... was surprised not to see Kendrick last year

I would like RTJ, Missy, Joey Bada$$, Kendrick - any of those would make my weekend...
-
Just had a Chas & Dave binge while cleaning the house - isn't it time they played again? Chas & Dave for 2017!
-
Bill Withers and Grace Jones would both be amazing at WH!

This is the set that keeps coming back to me from the whole weekend... It was near perfection and I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did! Perfection IMO would have included Dirty Epic. On reflection I think they blew LCD out of the park but think the fact they were at WH made big difference (not an other stage fan at all). I felt the same about Leftfield last year - the oldies are still the goodies. That's probably because I'm an oldie :-)

My mate went in drag as a girl called Janet and he got in. I've had loads of friends get in on other peoples tickets. As someone else said, if you don't get in first time, try until you do

My mates done it, he's a 6ft 5 scouser and the ticket he had was a little Chinese guys. One of the stewards questioned it so he grabbed it back off them. The next person just let him in. Suppose it's who you get but if looks are similar and they have the chance to borrow some ID of the seller for added umpf think you shouldn't have a problem.
Ha that is classic and a great glastonbury tale to tell - I am trying to convince him to get it tonight as a bigger chancer may go for it....fingers crossed

Can't he pay for the ticket when he gets back. The person selling the ticket is going to lose £200 anyway if they can't sell it on. Or maybe pay half up front and half on getting back. That way they both lose a little if he does not get back in, but it would minimise the risk a bit.
great idea - will suggest that...

That's what I think! Nothing like a sense of adventure...
-
i know - it's an expensive risk....and a long way to travel...but it might work! argh! Not sure if anyone else has done similar in the past...?
-
my friend has been offered a last minute ticket by someone who can't go - looks not too dissimilar but would be a bit of a risk. We are staying in campervan so tickets will be shown a fair bit for pass out etc. What are thoughts on how stringent the check is? Worth risking it for a biscuit or not? I wouldn't want them to come all the way down with us and then not get in!

Thanks all for suggestions!

Maceo Plex worth a look
Been listening to Maceo Plex non stop today - brilliant, right up my street! Not a huge fan of rammo Blues stage after hours after last year but would prob be a bit quieter for this...am going to do my best to make this one. Ta

Hello I am hoping to dip into some of the newer techno and experimental electronic while at Glasto this year - being a creaky old raver I don't know the newer names to head to. Any starters for ten to add to my ever growing list? 13 days, so excited....

I have been a-lurking and a-watching and a-click click clicking for weeks now, I feel the need to say hello to everyone and join in the solidarity. Being driven mad by the wait!
I have tickets but trying for my brother in law - feel slightly responsible as I told him he didn't need to check whether his reg still valid!
Good luck all!
If anyone wants anything else to obsessively check the weather report is looking good at the mo

Hello, bought 3 tickets for this last year in the hope could go but not possible this year. They are £115 each but I got super early birds so am selling all 3 for £264 - what I paid for them. It's meant to be an small, amazing festival in the mountains of Bulgaria if you haven't heard of it - a real adventure with a sunset stage and a sunrise stage and loads of mad stuff going on. Message me if interested - it's likely to sell out.
