first four songs were great, started to lose the crowd around Cold as Ice where I was.
-
Slowdive and Quest, touring in the area around Glastonbury, would have expected both to be booked, surprised they aren't as it stands.

told ya it was gonna be hippotihoppity on Saturday.
l'll be at the Foo Fighters 95% but I think it's a great booking for bbk on the other stage and some people will love it, make their weekend.

Katy Perry 3am in Hell would be fantastic.

First Glastonbury this year so any contribution I have is pretty moot to the discussion...
BUT Alt-J at Latitude 2015 were dull as dishwater, I managed to last up until the encore purely because my group were inexplicably into it - until one needed to leave to get some water. Needless to say I jumped at the chance.
Secondly Mumford and Sons at Reading the same year were atrocious, the older stuff got a good response from the crowd but whenever the lights dimmed and they played anything that was released post-2012ish no one seemed to know what was going on.
Alt J as much as I like them on record are pretty awful live whenever I've seen them.

The Fall on the park 2015. Recommended by a mate who usually has pretty solid suggestions. This was not one of them.
Oooh they were fantastic when I saw them in a tiny little venue in Reading, crazy, loud, deafening, good fun.

Secret Sets - I'm all for it, managed to watch Pulp right at the front thanks to one of those tip offs.

Putting Major Lazer against Ed?
You're not very good at this are you
It would be perfect for me, but I can see them being up against Radiohead (sadly for me)
-
Arctic Monkeys 2013 - Started well, got boring.
Mumford and Sons - Found them very boring, the big close to the festival was so cheesy.
Kanye West - The worst time I've seen him, he wasn't great on the Pyramid, it started great though, he missed the point.
Missing Chic and PSB for two of these sets, is enough proof for me to say there is more to life than the Pyramid Stage headliners. Why I even saw mumford is a mystery to me.

If Alt J can only do Saturday then they must be on the Pyramid then.
I'd like Major Lazer to be Sunday, fun end to the festival, but I can see them being Friday against Radiohead very easily.
-
I can see Perry equally playing before the Foo's as much as Ed Sheeran tbh.

I'm thinking she's maybe held back until to end of May full drop to sell more tickets. (clutching)
I think Gaga would only headline tbh.

I thought we might get A Tribe Called Quest or Damien Marley, I did also have the Weeknd as highly likely in my opinion so that's a shame.
I'm hoping for Richard Ashcroft, Public Service Broadcasting, Crystal Fighters and DJ Format and Abdominal.

this is all a bit like the all nighter queue on the Tuesday waiting some 12-15 hours just to get in and make camp.
-
the real kicker is when it's not even tomorrow!
-
haha at this point I knew it!

I'm all for a secret yes

Rumour starter from me here.
Could it be that it's taking an age because they are in fact releasing the ENTIRE lineup in the one? Purely hypothetical you understand...
this isn't even close to a late announcement from Glastonbury as far as I am aware.
-
this isn't that worse case scenario where we get a reverse order announcement by stage day after day with the Pyramid being the last announcement in like a months time.

Just put A Moon Shaped Pool on, refreshed the Glastonbury line up page as Burn the Witch was building towards the end (inadvertently, may I add) and now Daydreaming is soundtracking my disappointment. Everyone should do this at 4 minutes to the hour.
This is making me imagine those rolling chants that go through campsites only to fizzle out and stop before they reach your own campsite.

I thought that was the whole point.
Its like a badly acted Tosca innit?
I preferred it when it was more about wealthy people in a big house and some sheep.

is the automated tweet because the announcement is absurdly early tomorrow morning!
Worst act you have seen at the festival

didn't metronomy play before the 1975 that night?
