  1. I wonder if west car park is option. There’s the crossing between parks with lights. Near the taxi rank. Assuming she can access this road. From memory cars come and go here.

Yes but depending on age of child it would be better to go and meet them at bath and west and then do return trip on the shuttle with child

She's 9. SO Unless we can get into and near to a gate then B&W it might have to be

  3. Hey - this year I want to introduce my daughter to the joys of Glastonbury. My wife is planning to bring her down on Saturday. I'm assuming that I can just meet her at the gates and bring her in? I will have been there since Thursday.

    Thanks

    Dan

That's what i mean though - chucked it down once but then dry. What if doesn't chuck it down this year but there is 3 days of on/off very light rain (on previously dry ground)? Is there an example of that in recent years? Would the ground still eventually get really muddy?

I think it will be fine. It’s been dry. For me it’s everyone who clomps around in wellies that makes the ground worse! Worst footwear choice ever. Some waterproof walking boots rain or shine is the way to go!

as previous poster said. Sit on a bin bag kind of weekend.

Has there even been a festival that has had a dry start on dry ground and then a few days of light showers? What would that even do to the ground? All I can think of are either mudfests, heatwaves or ones where it has been mostly dry but then one big storm that made loads of mud that then dried up. Has there been a recent glastonbury which has had 3 days of (just) light rain?

2009. Chucked it down on Thursday/Friday morning. Wellies needed but by lunchtime Saturday it was back to the tent to change to trainers. Baking for the rest of the weekend.

  6. Is KISS really that much of a stupid suggestion? They're 'one of those bands' Something different, probably draw a decent crowd, got the songs that people will know, fit into what Neil's said so far etc etc. As a one off headliner, I think you can't go wrong with KISS

    ZZ TOP obvs.

  7. OMG!

Are you trying to suggest that you didn't read meticulously through 1609 pages of this thread prior to your first forum post?

Some people have NO commitment...! ;)

    Welcome to the forum, wolvodan
