Went to Leeds for the first time this year on the Sunday (being a usual regular at Reading) and I thought the crowds were generally a lot smaller and more tame at Leeds. Of the acts I saw, Superfood, Everything Everything and Frank Carter were fantastic.
Also was it me or was Eminem lip syncing throughout his set...?

We went Saturday day last year. There seems to be no easy way about it unless you go on Thursday . Perhaps look into if here is any public transport to Tadcaster and then maybe a taxi into the festival. And reverse.
otherwise what we did last year was terrible. Get to York train station then train to Leeds then you have to queue up (for about an hour) to get JUST a ticket for the Leeds fest bus (so now you're going back in the York direction anyway) and then you have to wait in line for he bus itself.
All told old the journey took us nearly 4 hours! Bramham park is 30 mins from York in a car.
maybe pushbike? It would honestly be quicker! Or pay someone for a lift if you're lucky.
I have my shuttle bus tickets already so shouldn't have to wait in that queue and i'm planning on going early and getting a bus at like 9am so shouldn't be too busy at that time I think - fingers crossed as I want to see king no one at 12...

Does anyone know what the most painless and cheap way to get to and from the festival site for a day ticket holder living in york is? It's a bit annoying that the york shuttle bus only runs during thursday and Monday...
Currently the only idea I have is to get a train to Leeds and then get a shuttle bus from there but it seems a bit long winded...

I'm happy with 50%, saw a number of great acts and the days I was there were good fun tbf
-
Looks like we aren't going to get refund information today after all - disappointed...
-
£40 sounds about right although I would have said £80 was more fair considering the Friday acts being cancelled and Saturday being moved around. Just hope it's not 50% off next years ticket - I'm too skint for that at the moment...
-
Dreadful organisation as said above, unfortunately I reckon if we get any compensation it would be in the form of money off of next years tickets and a lot of us have probably been put off for life...
-
Who's everyone looking most forward catching this weekend then?
-
Has anyone who has done click and collect got their collection receipt yet, I havent?

Yeah, Never heard of them lol
I'll give them a listen but it's possible they culd clash with Cast who I'm definitely not missing
Bury Tomorrow are metalcore and they kind of stick out on the lineup I think - a strange booking. However if you like heavier stuff you'll probably enjoy them I personally like them a fair bit.
-
I thought Beartooth were great, also really fucking enjoyed Seaway

Baffled as to how these bands such as Lower Than Atlantis, Don Broco and Deaf Havana still exist. Is this how annoying the likes of The Pigeon Detectives were in 2007?
Whats wrong with any of those 3 bands, they're all half decent bands. Don Broco are great!
-
I'd expect the TBC to be a harder Rock / Pop Punk act though given the other acts on that stage at that day, could be someone like Mallory Knox or The Wonder Years
-
Any guesses for the tbc?
My guess would be Lower Than Atlantis
-
The Friday Mainstage looks good! Oddity Road are a decent small band playing on Friday as well...
Wonder who the TBC will be?

They haven't, they just said the following in both of their announcement blogs
1. "Heading up The Quarry, we welcome EXAMPLE & DJ WIRE, and TWIN ATLANTIC."
2. "We also have the bearded troubadour himself FRANK TURNER, bringing his eclectic range of thought-provoking folk songs for an intimate headline solo set in The Quarry."
Ooh Interesting, wonder who will head the Giant Squid other than (I presume Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes)
-
I didn't even realise they had announced stages?
-
I don't really understand where the monster energy stage is going to be in leeds, is it actually inside the rosebowl or?

Could the order and stuff still shift around a bit (i.e. they add another act between Deaf Havana and Pendulum or something like that). Like there may be acts not yet announced which are placed in between some of the acts on the poster which may make them seem now like they're higher up on the bill than they actually would be
