  1. Hi all, first time going to benicassim so I have a few questions (sorry if they've already been answered, tried to look through the last few pages to check):

    1. Me and some mates are staying in Oropesa Del Mar as it was the cheapest place to get a hotel. Anyone know how viable getting the bus is to Benicassim, or is it worth just sticking to taxis (there are 4 of us)?

    2. As we're staying in the next town over and aren't driving, does anyone have rough prices for food, alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks inside the arena? Trying to balance drinking habits with being able to actually find our way to the festival, so just wondering whether we're better off just getting suitably ruined at our apartment and hoping for the best.

    3. Any supermarkets in the area that anyone would recommend? A quick google says there's a mercadona closest to us, just wondering if that's the best option.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. Just a point to add- at the festival now as I'm volunteering with Oxfam. I know posters aren't the be all and end all to who is playing the festival (announced or otherwise) but there was a 2016 tour poster for Twenty One Pilots. Would make sense for them to play anyway and that adds to it.

  3. Yeah Absolutepunk has got people on there with allegations against pretty much everyone except the vocalist, it isn't looking good. It appears Fil (the bassist I think?) has a lot piled against him in particular.

On a related note, I do wonder what this'll do to their crowd at the festival.

Excited for Rolo Tomassi too, not quite a modern baseball replacement but they'll do :P

  4. There's currently a tour poster doing the round on Twitter which says BMTH have shows in November, with support from Neck Deep and PVRIS.

    Edinburgh Corn Exhange- Nov 25

    Doncaster Dome- Nov 26

    Cardiff Motorpoint Arena- Nov 27

    London Alexandra Palace- Nov 28

I'm guessing that would be an initial tour with more arena dates coming in 2016.

Nice to see BMTH doing an arena tour finally (albeit a small one). Can't help but think the choice of Neck Deep as a support act will be downplayed/dropped/replaced sometime soon what with all the recent allegations...

  5. I have a solution to the Modern Baseball problem, just get Heck or Rolo Tomassi to replace them. It is pretty much the opposite of Modern Baseball (and I'd prefer Modern Baseball) but beggars can't be choosers :thumbsu:

If we're talking about ideal situations, get Thrice, Fall Of Troy or Fightstar over from hevy to fill the gaps in The Pit. Sadly way too unlikely for my liking.

  6. NGL but I could actually write an essay on why I like Untitled so much. I think it is amazing. Also have you played it backwards?

I haven't but I'll give it a go now! All I've heard about is the alternate tracklisting where you start the album with Welcome To Bangkok... that album really is a mystery.

  7. Would love the special guest to be a surprise like Ed Sheeran not gonna lie would actually love that although not sure how well he'd fit in at RandL also if he did play he could proberly almost headline

He won't, and after selling out 3 days at Wembley Stadium I think he's definitely a headliner. I would assume he's the 3rd glasto headliner over R and L.

  8. To be fair it has a lot of great songs. Mixtape, Seventy time 7, Magazines and Soco Amaretto Song but I still prefer stuff from The Devil and God though. Limousine, Jesus Christ, Untitled (this could actually be my favourite BN song), Millstone and The Archers Bow Has Broken

You're the only person I've ever seen that likes untitled. I love that album to pieces and that song does nothing but creep me out.

Also I'm not liking the lack of love for Daisy, I actually prefer it to Deja. Vices is pure insanity in a song and it's great.

  9. We think the shows rule the out, yes. It's unlikely they'll just sit in the UK for two weeks doing nothing, waiting for their shows after playing RandL. You never know, they do owe the festival one after pulling out before, all we can do is speculate.

Where do you think they'd fit?

Probably above or below Alexisonfire on the Saturday, depending on how generous the festival is feeling towards AOF. Sunday would be nice too though, the middle of the day there really drags for me.

  10. Sleigh Bells headlining FR in 2012 was one of the highlights of the weekend, women can definitely cut it in the music industry, it's more that they aren't really within the genres that play Reading all that much. I have no statistics to hand but straight up pop probably has more women than men.

  11. Fucking hell why are we censoring who ever it is (who the fuck is it) ?? We freely said the Libs were playing for the past few months before they were announced and they are headliners??

    Really confused now.

Because this one could potentially get someone in trouble
