  1. Fair enough and we are all different which is great.

Maybe I'm old school - I want to live the festival, absorb every moment, and live for the moment. I plan very little, and if I miss something then hopefully I've been having a great time somewhere else and have made a shed load of memories doing whatever

Don;t get me wrong if I stumble across a secret set then thats an amazing feeling and I feel lucky to have been in that place at that time

Please don't live the festival through your phone, embrace it, feel it, live it, and etch it into your memory forever

I'm with you on this one, my life is ruled by time and technology, it's great to leave all that behind for a few days and live each moment as it comes along. The best bit is not worrying about what may or may not be happening elsewhere and just emersing yourself in what's happening here and now

  2. With all the talk of hugs, cwtch's etc I thought I would look at my sites to see what songs there are with such words.

    Oh dear.

    Hugs - None

    Cuddles - None

    Cwtch - None

Didn't the beach boys have a song called cuddle up?

  3. Looks like I'm going on my own too but won't be doing massage. Does sound like a bit of a closed shop

You'll be fine on your own, it's by far the friendliest of all the festivals I've been to. One year I spent the whole of Sunday with a spare seat beside me, as one person left another came and sat down, I had a great laugh with lots of lovely people

  5. I can see where you are coming from, but I've already got too many events etc that I'm booked up to go to. I really can't squeeze another event in. In addition, I do feel like taking a year off is a good decision. I doubt whether I'll be feeling that way come the Wednesday of the festival though. :)

I always feel a little bit sad if I'm not there :(

  6. To be honest I've never taken a portaloo before, I'm not even sure why I'm thinking of taking one this time! I think I'm getting to the age when I want to have options! A woman should always have options. Thank you, I love you all ❤️❤️❤️

  7. Hi I tried a few years ago without success. I was advised that you can go on standby to be contacted if someone pulled out at the last minute. This was only for space in a large tent with several therapists working alongside each other. Not sure if you can still do this but its worth thinking about if you can. I also thought about taking my table down and putting it up in a tent next to my van and offering free massage to fellow campers pitched around me but don't think this would be viewed kindly by festival organisers. Either way you'll have a great time, I'm going on my own this year, haven't been for 8 years so I'm very excited, so many new places to explore. I can't wait

  8. A few years back there used to be a competition in the local western Daily press paper that would either give you a chance to win a chance of buying tickets I think they had 100 pairs to sell , or a chance to win a pair of tickets . Dont think this competition runs now unfortunatly :( . didnt see it last year .
