  1. In Belfast, one laptop, one Chrome screen and F5ing from 8.55. White screen for 10 mins, kept hammering F5 throughout, think was onto a holding page (had been up all night and a bit merry). Kept f5ing and onto booking page, details in, onto pay screen right away, hit proceed and nothing. Refreshed few times, nothing, hit back then proceed again, done approx 9.15.

Started again for second lot, a lot more straightforward, done at 9.23.

Needed another two but time ran out. Out of our group, I got in and booked twice, one other got a holding page, the rest just got the white screen. Suppose the more trying increases chances.

That was first time I have ever got a registration page never mind done on T Day. Last two years has been resale which I have found to be so much easier. Anyone who didn't touch lucky on Sunday, it's far from over - keep the faith!

Good to know someone from this neck of the woods got tickets. Well done!! :)

  2. Hope levels just reached 1000 again.

I want to be there next year so badily so fingers crossed it will happen, especially with being on EFestivals. Of all the tickets sold, i thought the majority of the buyers would have been members here

Also joined that FB group FF, hope thats alright :patsak:

  3. I could tick a couple of options in that profile.

Now i know people say its not the internet connection, which is fine i dont think we would ever really know the specific rights and wrongs to that at any particular refresh, but in my mind it was the internet connection i was on.

I called around the corner with my laptop to my friends house who has standard Sky broadband. Come 9am, we refreshed and of course all the tabs we had open just had that little circle going round and round as the page was reloading. Just a white screen though, not to the holding page. Once or twice we did get to the holding page, but then the screen just went white again, as if the laptops were trying to connect to the internet.

At around 9.10 my friends laptop died, and i immediately took mine and said i would try from my internet connection around the corner, which is 100mb Virgin Fibre Optic. At this point i was under the assumption that tickets would sell out at around 9.40 going on past information. Eve at that, i thought i definitely had until at least 9.30.

When i got into mine, i constantly got to the holding page instantly. No white screen, no lag reloading. Boom. Straight there. But around 3 minutes later up popped the Sold Out sign.

Now as i said, i could be wrong, but i just have a feeling that if i had of tried with my internet, we would have at least been in with a better shout, or maybe even got tickets! I really deteste Sky broadband, i had it a few years ago, and had to many problems with it. From simple youtube streaming, to about 3-4 replacement Netgear routers (the old black ones they had a few years ago).

I am still truely disappointed in Sunday morning from how unorganised and inexperienced i was. I should have told my friend to get his lazy ass to mine, instead of me accommodating him since i knew he would get out of bed. But no offence, i do take solace in that i didnt get to entering in my details to still not get a ticket. Those are the people i feel bad for, and who technically have a right to feel worse than i do. Its just going to be such a long wait until the resale, but i still have hope i will get to my first Glasto. I just hope. Apologies by the way if i was rude on Sunday to anyone. I didnt take my first ticket F5 madness too well lol.

  4. I beg to differ. Started off at 9 in my friends house and got all sorts of problems loading pages. He is on Sky Broadband. Legged it round the corner to my house after his laptop died and I was constantly getting instant refreshes on the holding page until it sold out. I have Virgin 50mps fibre optic.

  5. It's the luck of the draw, I think. I've wasted hours over the years with the back-door links, but always got through to the booking page with the straight glastonbury.seetickets.com URL. Just don't trust the 'this page will automatically refresh' message. I missed out in tickets for 2013 many times over by stupidly trusting the auto-queuing system. F5 all the way for me!!

So even though you are in the queue, just keep hitting F5? Does that not mean you constantly get put to the back of the queue? Ugh this is too confusing for me!

  6. The pressure i am feeling is immense because with it being my first year, its all new to me. I know i should try and keep positive, but its at such a low, its even putting me off even trying. I am not a lucky person in general anyways, so i will give it a go. Just dont have much hope.

  7. Congrats to all who got their tickets last night!

I wanted to have a crack at it, but since this our first one, my friend insited he wants to drive all the way from Belfast instead of flying to Bath and getting a coach from there.

Roll on Sunday i suppose, but i dont think we will be lucky.

  8. Got my email saying my photo is allowed :D never done this before but going to give it a go. Hope luck is on my side!!!

Does anyone know what Info is needed for tonight (regarding bank details really)

EDIT- im a little confused, do i need to pay coach money (£64 from Leeds) and £50 deposit today???

Congrats chap. I got mine this morning too, but i wont be trying until Sunday. Nerves are seriously setting in now, especially since i dont have a PC and will be doing this all on my smartphone which i am not confident about.

Just to make sure, do you enter in the reg numbers and postcode and then get entered into a queueing system? Or is it just a referesh thing?
