So, glasto isn’t  happening so time to look at others.
For me the lineup looks good, is there much happening after the headliners finish?

anyone used the offsite camping? If so what’s it like?

Latitude is the closest to me but the lineup v cost doesn’t provide much value for me.
    cheers

Nothing official held by festival after headliners have finished. But Portsmouth has plenty of pubs and clubs for after.

Never used the campsite as live fairly local. Have driven past few times on way to amd from festival, looks nice but basic. Only complaints I've heard about campsite is the shuttle to and from it, one being busy (queues) and two its now not free to use.

so are we saying snow patrol before fatboy Slim on Main stage?

still need to find out about courteeners and Jamie T clash otherwise it will have to be courteeners for me!

Yes sounds like 4 main headliners. Think they will give Snow Patrol and Fatboy Slim same set length. Still think it will finish 11pm though extremely unlikely Victorious will get late licence, but would be happy to be proven wrong.

Thanks for the tips everyone! I will definitely look into to some.

Sounds like the app was just scheduling thing rather than taking photos of the timings or buying a lanyard.

We have areas we all meet, and phone signal was better. but thanks for the other tips.

Have we seen the price increases!!!

    £180 weekend

    £65 a day

Guessing it will be £70-75 per day by the time most acts in February have been announced.

For wet leg, depends on 2nd album plans. I would say they are the level as potential new band like Sam Fender / royal blood were when booked (both likely booked before 2nd album releases). I agree it is a risky one though as if 2nd album not strong will look poor.

Don't think Wet Leg are quite there just yet maybe 2025, depends when they release the album and how well it does. Also Royal Blood were on their 3rd album when they headlined in 2021.

Strokes are from the US btw

The Hives are nowhere near headline

Its not 80k surely? Not been but didn't think it was nearly that

    -----------

I think Muse is a fair shout for the big act, although worth remembering they (and Chems) just did IOW

Do they book the same acts one year after the other much?

I would rule out the Prodigy straight away as they will near certain be back at Boomtown next year

I believe Marcus Mumford said "its a great a great line up here and for us and Johnny Marr to be playing to 80k people between us is great" or something along those words. I remember reading somewhere it as 70k for Sat and Sun when they were the only full days. So moving the common stage back could possibly made room for 10k more. But I don't think any of the days sold out so very much doubt 80k were there any of the days.

Line up wise Muse are finishing touring at end of this year so doubt they will tour at all next year, if they do a festivals I doubt it will be Victorious more likely Reading but I would love them to do it. I could see Liam, maybe a female solo artist with how well Ellie Goulding did and struggling with a 3rd act, probably a band like Foals or Imagine Dragons.
