So confirmation just recieved from An Post that they won't be sent until Monday.

To the Irish Contingent who got theirs this week - did the postman require a signature? Wondering if they'll put them through the letter box.

No signature required. I met my postman outside the front door yesterday as I saw him coming. Told him what was in the envelope. Shortly after he was gone, the tracking updated to delivered but there was no signature to view.

The same postman is due to delivery another ticket on Monday to another member of our group so I've tipped him off that it's on the way. Said he'll get it delivered as early as possible Monday.

I know you have an offer already to bring tickets over Tuesday. I'll also add an offer here if you need it. Travelling over on the Tuesday morning ferry from Rosslare so don't hesitate to get in touch if I can be of any assistance.

  2. Just received this response from See:

"Further details on collecting tickets will be sent to you much closer to the time of the event, this will cover Campervan passes also.

Each attendee can collect their tickets at different times, this is not a problem.

    Kind Regards,

The box office collection point has been at Gate A for years. Not so bad when it only affects a small handful of people but every ticket buyer outside the UK who can’t get it sent to a UK address? That’s going to be messy.

If they make campervan ticket holders go to Gate A to collect CV and festival tickets, is that logistically possible? (I.E - needing to park your campervan near Gate A, go to the Box Office, collect tickets and then drive around the site to CV East?)

I have only ever accessed the festival via the PG at CV West so have no idea of the set up at PG A.

I assume it would also need to be open from 12Noon on the Tuesday as that is when the CV fields usually open. Otherwise, you will have any "international" CV arrivals parked up on the edge of the festival from Tuesday afternoon until Wednesday morning which would be a nightmare!!

  4. Still no response to the query sent to See/Glastonbury Tuesday morning regarding the "Box Office Collection" for Internation ticket holders. Just seeking some clarity on how it will all work.

6 of us travelling. 4 will arrive via campervan on the Tuesday evening with the remaining 2 flying into Bristol Thursday evening.

Could adjust my registration and get them sent to a relative in Bristol and collect from him directly on the Tuesday afternoon on route to Glastonbury.

At the moment, that seems an appealing option rather than messing around with Box Office Collection/Campervan logistics and the fact that all 6 in the group are not arriving at the same time which judging by the statement on the payment page that everyone in the party must be present to collect tickets, could cause another issue.

Yeah same for worthy view they always posted tickets to Ireland in the past going to so annoying if Everyone has to go to gate A first then back over to worthy view! Assuming this not posting to Ireland is another GREAT outcome of Brexit

    Definitely another Brexit outcome!!

I can't see any process they introduce for campervan/Worthy View ticket holders being more straight forward than the previous postal system!

I've popped an email off to the ticket office to see what process we can expect.

I tried to pay the balances for our international order, and the booking site doesn't let you choose the delivery method:

Is it the same for you?

Being not very far from UK, I have always received my tickets well in time in the past, and I find it way more comfortable.

    The festival website says :

    https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/#DISP

How do we think this "Box Office Collection" system will work for International arrivals who are travelling via campervan.

Usually, you display the campervan pass on the windscreen a few miles from the festival site and your festival tickets are checked on entry to the campervan fields.

Are we going to have to bring the campervan to Gate A before heading to the campervan fields? Or will they put international tickets with campervan tickets at a dedicated Collection Point?

    Either way, seems really awkward!!

  7. My See Tickets account updated yesterday to say:

"tickets prepared for dispatch on 07/06/2017. Tickets will typically leave our office the same day".

I received no email yesterday or this morning so had a Live Chat with See a few minutes ago and was informed that my tickets were prepared after the Royal Mail collection yesterday and will therefore go out in today's Royal Mail pick up.

  8. Hey guys,

One of the members of our party won't be arriving at Bristol Airport until 12.30pm Friday (The rest of us will be arriving Tuesday).

National Express have a coach leaving at 12.30pm also but being realistic he won't make this. The next isn't until 2.30pm.

Any advice on strategy for this poor lad? Taxi? Taxi/Train? Other buses running?

    Any suggestions appreciated!! :beach:

  9. Few acts playing in Ireland the week/weekend of Glastonbury:

    Brian Wilson

    Bryan Adams

    Biffy Clyro

    Neil Young

    Tom Jones

    Bob Dylan

    Nathan Carter

Not expecting any of the above to actually appear mind you but sure might aswell add to the list!

  10. Leaving Rosslare on the 21:00 sailing on Tuesday 24th June which arrives in Fishguard at 00:15. Hoping to be off the ferry and on the road by 00:45.

Probably looking at around a 3hr 45min drive (fully loaded campervan) and stop for 30mims.

Hoping to arrive in CV West sometime between 5.00-5.30am on the Wednesday morning!

  11. Received my tickets and CV West ticket last Friday (received in Ireland).

Just had a look on my online account and it says 48% of tickets dispatched.

Was never so happy to see the postie arrive last week! Then began to worry about the fact that it's my responsibility to take care of these precious tickets for a full month!!

  12. Hey Everyone,

Finally registered and looking forward to making my contributions.

I got an email this morning at 9.23 saying my tickets have been dispatched (and this includes my Campervan ticket) so looks like these are being dispatched a bit earlier this year compared to previous years. My See Tickets accounts says 38% dispatched!
