"A SLOW shudder of horror crept around the Midsomerset News and Media newsroom when it was announced the Somerset Cider Bus had broken down on the way to Glastonbury Festival this morning."
I am glad they know the true horror of this situation.

80% of stuff has made it into my bag, the other 20% is what worries me as my bag at this point is far more empty than last year!
-
Echoing what has been already said, being a Londoner £4.50/80 per pint I can live with compared with cans in venues up here for the same price

One day more... Another day another destiny!

Someone has just tweeted that Emily is going to be announcing the new headliners before 10am on Radio One...
Does that mean we only have 24 minutes to get another 89 pages on this topic!?

The growler was between Other and Glade last year, it was glorious!

I got the first train out of Paddington last year, was a breeze.
Turned up at around 6:45, grabbed some breakfast and then easily managed to get seats for 3 of us on there just by keeping a beady eye on the board for the platform number and having a fast walk when it was announced.

Silly question, but what type of music do they play? everyone raves about them on here and I'm trying to work out if it'd be my kind of thing
House music basically -

Lamb tagine on way from other to pyramid via Leftfield. On left hand side just before one of the pinch points. Best meal I had at glasto - straight after stones though so was on a high anyway.
I had one of those on the Wednesday last year, the guy even made up a rap for us as he was serving it up. Entertainment and a meal!

Wasn't there hammocks on something like that up above the rabbit hole last year or did I imagine that?
-
About half or 3/4 the size of Hell I think. I was quite merry at the time I was there though so my spacial reasoning is probably a bit off!
-
Went through the Clashfiner for the first time there.
It doesn't have areas like The Blues, Spaceport, Glade Lounge and Arcadia, so stuff you will want to see can't be marked on it.
Even so it's pretty hectic looking although several people I'd like to see are playing a few times - Four Tet, George Fitzgerald, Joy Orbison etc
There is a link at the top left to 'show extra stages'
-
Unless it is a band you must see, there's a lot to be said for choosing a more chilled out time at stages that usually have space (West Holts, Acoustic, Avalon) than being crushed in the JP tent or fighting through crowds for 45 mins to get a half decent spot at the Pyramid.
(Reading this, probably reflects my age, I used to be at the front of the Pyramid a few years back)
I even left a must see last year because I was not having fun with the crowd, best decision I made that night.

yeah that's gonna be insane, but i really really want to go so looks like i'll have to get there early
Yeah I really do as well, luckily if it isn't possible to get in or near the tent we have Nic Fanciulli and the Circoloco take over both close which will also be great.

JESuS at WoW! on Thursday will be the most rammed I think

40 minutes into a long bus journey from London. Excitable like a small child at Christmas.

Beat Hotel
in Chat
never been in the beat hotel before, every-time ive passed it it just looked to me like a massively busy very rowdy bar didn't even realize it had a stage....where do the acts actually play?
I was never a massive fan of the place but loved the acts there until last year when I realised it is super busy to about halfway in then there is loads of room towards the front. Made it much more enjoyable (if a bit sweaty!).

Another cracker of a line up from them. Simian b2b with Bicep is huge.

I have started the last few weekends getting the legs used to walking some extra miles, did 9 miles on Saturday (with one or two beer stops in the sun of course) and was pleased with no ache on Sunday!
-
Yeah the Friday is mental, Maceo Plex is a must for me.
-
Maceo Plex on Arcadia will be unreal. Hope he plays at Block 9 Genosys too, that would be a set to see!

I missed out on General Sale in October because of a reg number in our group already having a ticket too. So frustrating but at least I have one from the coach resale! Silver linings and all.
Any last minute nightmares or stresses?
