Played there in 2017. Unfortunately were up against Elbow's secret set on Park, so was just the band, me and about 8 other people.
I was one of the other 8 watching Girl Ray... it was a great set! Also in 2017 saw Amber Arcades and Flamingods (who played an amazing, feverish set).

Once I'm on the train, already knackered and completely drenched in sweat after walking just 10 mins to the station with an overloaded rucksack, camping equipment and bags of beverages

I keep dreaming about ticket resale day. Is this really sad? I think it might be.
I've had about six Glastonbury dreams in the last couple of months...usually they involve me on my way to the festival - but not quite getting there. The last couple have been about ticket day!
-
Caught them twice at Glastonbury - Rabbit Hole and Crow's Nest - one of the highlights of the festival for me. Amazing energy and they seemed to be really enjoying themselves! Looking forward to the album

Heart-breaking to see this.

Beak> are more "krautrock" but could be considered psychedelic

Never seem to generate much love for Plaid when I mention them in here
Only recently discovered Plaid (heard them on 6 Music) and definitely will be at the Glade to watch them. I prefer the "head nodding electronica" to the relentless beat driven stuff. Can anyone recommend anything at else along those lines playing at Glasto (already planning on seeing Beak>)?

Crow's Nest?
That would be amazing

Beak> already self-confirmed, but have given more info:
"We're playing Glastonbury.
Williams Green stage on Saturday at 8pm.
And somewhere near the Park stage on the Sunday around 6pm." -
The smell of a mowed lawn on a sunny day...it transports me back to Glastonbury more than anything else. Also the smell of wood smoke and BBQ's....

Can't decide favourite, but listening a lot to Blanck Mass and Preoccupations (formerly Viet Cong)
(also Protomartyr but looks like they are in Canada 22/6 and 23/6, so unlikely to play Glasto)

When I saw Foals in February Silhouettes and Death were played back to back just before they came on which I thought was a strange way to get people up for a gig, I wasn't complaining though!
They also do a great version of Bauhaus' "Dark Entries" which features on their first release the "Cassette" EP. Brilliant band, can't wait for the new album

I can't find these dates listed anywhere else but Pitchfork have Preoccupations (Viet Cong's new name) down for two London gigs in the same week as Glastonbury which must make them nailed on to play.
I hope so too, I saw them towards the end of last year and they are fantastic live - very intense. Their album was one of my favourites from last year - particularly the track "Silhouettes"

LP 2 would go down a storm in a hot, sweaty late night venue...
I agree. I think Saturday's set consisted of most of "Dumb Flesh" and "The Great Confuso Part 1". Where do you think he could play?

Just listened to some Auntie Flo and I like what I hear, groovy, hope to be there
Same here, having just listened to the Theory Of Flo album - it is so good
Shame about Kiasmos not playing though....
Hoping Andy Stott gets added, and also the brilliant Blanck Mass who played a very loud show at the Lexington last weekend.

I love new album, and much more than I thought I would. Though a fan, I've never seen P J Harvey live before....so really looking forward to it. I see that Gallon Drunk's Terry Edwards and James Johnston feature heavily on the album as well as Mick Harvey (ex Bad Seeds) and John Parish ...hopefully they'll be accompanying her at the show!?

I got mine in the secret resale last year. For me it was much easier than either the main sale or April resale but I had to be dedicated to the cause. I used a combination of a whatsapp group (I think) that was set up by someone on these pages and a page change alert

According to their website they appear to be in France on 25th and 27th June.

I agree. Not amazing, but it is a nice line-up with lots to discover. Only a bit disappointed that Iggy Pop and Parquet Courts are not on it.
